I was excited to use this service while we were traveling over the summer and needed a way to get our mail forwarded to us in different states. It works as described, you can see photos of the mail and request it to be forwarded. However they have a forwarding fee that is varys depending on the mail center that is PER peice of mail. The pricing pages just say "Forward Fee $X each" which to any reasonable person implies $X each time you request a forward of your mail, there is also the cost of the postage for mailing but that is understandable. So imagine my surprise when I request the forward of our mail and there is a $40 fee on top of the $10 for the postage. When I reached out to their support I was told this was the mail centers doing. When the mail center reached out to me they said they had no idea this additional charge was added and that they only charged for the postage. I don't trust them and won't use them again.

I had a great experience with this company for over a year. Until 4/22, when I used their app to close my account. Screenshotted the confirmation from the Anytime Mailbox app that my account would close on 4/30. Then on 5/5, was notified by my credit card of a charge for the regular monthly service fee. Emailed Anytime Mailbox. Received several replies in the following exchange, including claims that it was a valid charge because it was for other services (even though the amount didn't match) and that it was for the month of April (except the billing statement showed that April had already been charged. On 4/5). But I think my favorite excuse was that it was a charge for another account at a separate location, the reason being that when my card company asked me to find info on their refund policy, guess what I found instead? A notice from Anytime Mailbox informing me that that other account had been permanently closed. Over a year before. Ha ha ha ha. Talked to Lene by phone, who sounded sympathetic and genuinely shocked this had happened, and who promised to ask her boss to not only close the account but refund the May charge. About 12 hours later, received an email stating that the request was denied because I hadn't responded to an email they sent asking me to verify the cancellation. I was shocked, absolutely shocked, I tell you, when no such email was ever delivered to either my inbox or my spam folder. If you like taking chances with your money, this may be just the company for you.
Required address verification kills this service

I’ve been Customer for a long time and love the customer service at the site where I have my box. However, at some point in recent years, the USPS has shifted the requirements so that you must verify the address that you’re forwarding your mail to. Which is really ridiculous since I can just walk in and pick up my mail with no verification required. Further, if I want to ship something to somewhere other than my home address, for example, to a sibling, or if I am traveling, I have to go through the whole reverification process all over again. It’s both a time and financial cost that I’m unwilling to bear and I’m going to close my account.

We have been using this service while living out of the country for over two years and it’s been nearly flawless. There have been a few nuisance bugs in the app, but they were fixed quickly. I believe that Anytime Mailbox is a platform that allows local P.O. Box suppliers to provide this virtual mailbox service by using the anytime mailbox backend and scanning hardware. Ours is hosted by a local mom and pop place that was where we used to live. The service can be phenomenal; if it’s not for you, you may want to try a different location within their network.
We've made some small improvements and fixed a few bugs to make the app run more smoothly.
