Honestly I’ve tried them all and this is the best, option there is. Honestly it’s sooo seamless. I don’t know any other company that would let you rent their trucks for this price or per hour. This is the only company out there that doesn’t have a high deposit and is extremely inexpensive. Everything is done via the app all you do is enter your drivers license, and credit card info and you’re approved! THATS IT, there’s no hidden fees, and they are very transparent about everything. Plus you can contact them at any time and reserve at anytime. They are very communicative and can always talk to a live person. 10/10 recommended!! $89 for a full day rental? 100 miles included? Where else but Fluid?

I think Fluid Truck is a great idea with (currently) very poor execution. For starters, Fluid truck cancelled one of my reservations two hours prior to the start without cause or warning. When I rebooked with them, they gave me the wrong location to pick up the vehicle. I called customer service, who hung up on me twice while I was trying to troubleshoot the app to open the vehicle. After many apologies from the service rep, we were able to get into truck, but it was already 1.5 hours past the start of the reservation, for context. We were reassured that our reservation would be extended, free of charge. At the time our initial reservation was due to end, we began receiving threatening text messages about Fluid Truck demobilizing our vehicle if we didn’t pay to extend our reservation. Horrified, we quickly called customer support, only to be sent to a voicemail. We were scared for our safety while on the road and pulled over as soon as we could. Customer service didn’t bother to call us back. We were finally able to log in on the website and extend the reservation, and the promise of a free extension was not honored. We lost so much time, money, and sanity (!!!), thinking that the car could turn off in the middle of the road. They offered me some credits later on, but honestly, I will never use this service again as long as I live, so that wouldn’t be helpful. I hope I save someone out there the headache that is Fluid Truck.

If I could give negative stars, I would. If you are in need of a moving truck last minute, this is the last thing you want to waste your time dealing with. From the very start renting the truck is a pain. Initially, you reserve the truck and think that you are good, only to open the app and see a denial, but never receive an email or anything telling you more details. When clicking further on the app, I see it is asking me to submit my ID again, so I did. Only to have the same denial 5 min later. I tried one more time, I guess that time is when it went through but again, the app does not give you any notifications. So it wasn’t until I received a text saying to upload photos of the vehicle that I even knew I had a reservation. So of course, I had to reach out and say that I didn’t need it because I didn’t even receive anything saying I was approved. I was told to log out and back in to see the update and of course now I could but it does me no help. I was told they couldn’t cancel the reservation since it was already in progress. But I didn’t have any thing nor did I even know so how is it in progress! Avoid avoid avoid! The last thing you need is a bigger headache during a crazy time like moving. Fluid Truck is like the Spirit Airlines of moving truck companies. You get what you pay for

My experience with Fluid Truck was the worst. I got to the place where my truck was supposed to be waiting for me only to find 2 trucks. Sounds great, right? Check truck #1…not my truck. Check truck #2…also not my truck. Call customer service…turns out “my” truck is somehow in Richmond, CA and I’m in San Francisco, CA (19 miles with bridge crossing!), and if I wanted to continue the reservation I’d need to pick up the truck over there. Of course, the other 2 trucks were somehow already spoken for even though neither of them were claimed during the hour I was stuck there. The CSR said the most they could do was to extend my reservation for an hour, not realizing for me to get to the truck would require me to find someone to take me to Richmond, plus pay for bridge toll for 2 vehicle coming back, not to mention time lost. What am I supposed to do at 10pm at night with no options in sight? While deliberating with my partner on what to do, I get a call back from Fluid Truck telling me that for whatever reason, the truck in Richmond was not available after all and that all he could do is offer me a full refund. Seriously? Leaving me in the lurch and then acting as if I should be thankful to get a refund for something I never even got. Be forewarned, people. And don’t get stuck like I did with no way out.
