Description

Calculate the distance of lightning and find out how far away the storm is. This app calculates distance using the difference between the speed of light and sound.

Tap a button when you see the lightning and then again when you hear the thunder and the app will tell you how far away it is using a time difference between the two.

Mr weird guy ,

Well let’s see here I don’t like it. A little

Well it says, When you see lighting just tap again. I tried it before it’s horrible. When I pressed the button when there was lighting, I think i presses it and when the thunder roared, it never caught it and how does it know where lighting strikes??? Idk maybe a detector all over my state?! I haha don’t know. Can u fix it?

Useless...

No input from lightning sensors... relies on user to click when the see lightning and click when the hear the matching thunder... in most cases if one sees lightning they should have already taken shelter so I’m not sure what the purpose of the app is... i suppose having a stopwatch gets the distance calculation more accurate but to what end? Knowing the lightning struck 2 miles away versus 3 still means the same thing, get off the fricken golf course/out of the pool/ lake etc and take shelter inside a building or vehicle ...
