We have baseboard heaters for our apartment and the cost was going through the roof so we wanted to try something different. We currently just use the Mill WiFi heater in our bedroom and it works great! It took about 3 minutes to set up the WiFi and most of those minutes was me just holding my phone in front of it. Super fast and easy! We plan to get two more heaters for the rest of our place! Thank you Mill!
WiFi Oil heater never connects

I’ve had this heater for several years now. As a standalone heater it’s been great! I appreciate the aesthetic of it too. Unfortunately from the moment it arrived I could never get it to actually connect to my WiFi. I’ve moved around a bit over the past few years and have tried to set it up on various WiFi situations and they all fail to connect. I think maybe I just got a lemon? I thought about returning it early on, but it’s still a good heater even if I can’t control it remotely. Just a heads up for anyone who may be hoping for a smooth experience with this feature. If having that is a deal breaker then you may wanna keep shopping. Or at least get a warranty and keep your receipt. Not too confident about the Mill team’s quality control dept.

Useless and dangerous

The application itself is poorly executed, but the real danger is the socket adapter hardware. They are near impossible to install properly, and if you’re lucky enough to manage to install them on the 20th or 30th try (I’m not exaggerating, and I’ve tried both Gen 2 and Gen 3), they cut out without warning and can both stop heating all together, or go into overdrive and heat the room to sauna-like temperatures. The real danger is the stop heating part. If you rely on these to heat your house or cabin in winter, beware, that can cost you. This is my first or maybe second review in App Store after using iPhone since 2007, so it tells you something about my frustration level. I’ve contacted support and they were distinctly unhelpful. I recommend you steer clear of Mill and their products.
