This app NEVER has accurate prices or sizes for that matter. If you would like to buy crawfish, google local seafood vendors or use the phone book. It cannot be less accurate than this app is. For the app owners, if you put some effort into being 100% accurate you would have a real gem here. I’ve had this app for some time now and I can honestly say it has NEVER been accurate. Don’t care if the vendors don’t report the correct numbers, as owner of the app one should put in the effort to ensure you are delivering a quality app to the public. Too bad. Like I said before this could have been really special.

We picked up a sack from this place yesterday and boy where we impressed. The gentlemen that waited on us was really nice and helpful. We got a sack of large crawfish. These where perfect size and we where amazed at how clean they where out of the sack. My wife and I are clean freaks when it comes to crawfish. I washed them twice and there was hardly no change in water color. We boiled them and we where very very happy with the quality. We found no dead crawfish. The crawfish tails where full and pealed so easily. My favorite part of any crawfish is the claws and the largest part of them had big claws full of meat and the meat came out super easy. Loved them. I actually ate crawfish for the first time until full. Normally I quit eating long before because of the quality of the crawfish. Everyone of you are buying live crawfish and want quality crawfish and quality service you cannot go wrong here. We will buy here again. Thanks

It is December 26, 2024, a time when many people start craving boiled crawfish again, and are ready to take the family out for something other than the usual holiday food. This is especially true while traveling family members who live in distant places are home. It is an opportunity to give them another taste of home before they have to return to their lives away from Acadiana. This app hasn’t updated availability or prices since June 2024. I gave it a 3 because of at least having the locations that sell crawfish. But if you’re going to have an App that purports to be a quick easy search engine for local availability and current prices, it needs to be updated at least weekly. You’re showing my favorite crawfish restaurant as “unavailable” for boiled crawfish, while a quick check of their facebook page shows that they are currently offering boiled crawfish.

So, we went to a place to get crawfish based on the good reviews (high rating for size and flavor) listed on this app. The reviews (three in total left at the beginning of 2020) on the app all raved about the crawfish at this particular place being large and flavorful. They were the exact opposite. They were small, did not have much flavor at all, and they were mushy. I could barely peel them. I ate about 10 then gave up, which I NEVER do, even if they are tiny. I got on the app to leave a review for this particular place based on my experience. I wrote the review, and clicked submit. The review did not post. Went back and checked, still not posted. It made me wonder, since the app will not let an everyday consumer such as myself leave an honest review and the reviews on the app are completely misleading, are crawfish vendors paying the owners of the app to leave themselves good reviews in order to increase their business? Hmm. Needless to say, I won’t be using this app again.
