Must have for moms with anxiety!

TLDR:must have for every parent, easy to travel with and gives such peace of mind. Only thing to consider is it does require a secure wifi connection.Absolutely love this camera! Have even purchased a second camera as I am now a mother of 2 under 2 and let me tell you the peace of mind I have with this monitor is unmatched! I love the having the insights especially with my first child because I was reassured that I could see my baby even while at work during his naps or when he and his dad are playing in the room. Because let’s be honest maternity leave in the US is a joke. In addition to being able to have peace of mind the sleep insights really aided us when sleep training our baby and not feeling like we were traumatizing him because we could clearly see that within one minute he would stop crying and start self soothing or playing with his stuffy with intermittent “whining” to see if one of us would come in. Bear in mind sleep training was not done until 1 year old when he had object permanence clearly mastered and a secure attachment to both my husband and I. Naps took a little longer to master. Purchased the stand and travel case as well! Love having it when in hotel rooms and airbnbs. Some hotel rooms however the wifi was not secure so nanit would not work. Small downside but still worth it in my opinion. Hope this helps. Plan on using until kids are in their preteens or simply transitioning it to a living room camera.

My husband and I fell in love with this product just reading about it, but now that we’ve been using it a couple of weeks, we love it even more. Our daughter started sleeping in her crib the first night we came home from the hospital. We keep our Fire 8 Plus in our room on loud with the app running in the background so we don’t burn the battery on our phones at night. There is barely a second of delay. When our daughter cries you hear her first and then an echo through the app. The key is getting the band situated correctly each night. We were using the band in the beginning and swaddling her (which you’re not supposed to do). We got a red alert on the second night (the most terrifying noise to wake up to). Our daughter was fine and breathing but the layers from the swaddle and band must have made the reading difficult. I will say the red alert will give you some false alarms which I would rather have happen than not. However, all in all we’ve really enjoyed watching the nightly summaries that are produced the following morning to see how many times our daughter woke up, for how long, and how long it took us to get back to sleep after a feeding. Additionally, we love that you can turn the camera off when it’s not in use so we keep ours turned off during the day. Last, but not least, when the time comes that we need to travel to visit family, I love that we can take the camera with us and utilize the stand for traveling. Such a great feature!

My husband and I fell in love with this product just reading about it, but now that we’ve been using it a couple of weeks, we love it even more. We were gifted the Nanit for our baby shower and could not be more grateful. The price point was much higher then most so we would most likely not have invested in it. Have not used others so can’t compare to other brands or variation of models. The Nanit pro video quality is very clear in light and extremely clear in the dark, our room has black out curtains so even in that kind of dark room, picture quality is excellent. What we like most is the insights. It tracks things like wake ups, motion detected. I can review the video up to the past 48 hours to truly see how my LO’s sleep is going.. we learned he was starting to roll in his sleep a lot, something he doesn’t do as much awake as well as just study and discover his habits. We upgraded our plan to be able to add more caretakers. The free version only allows two caretakers. We needed to add our nanny and our long term family guests that come to help. My parents love that they still have access and can tune in all the way from Texas! The microphone is also extremely sharp, although I advise to shut off access to caretakers if you are having a serious conversation or need private time as the microphone will really pick up clearly voices even when far. We separately purchased the floor stand which we like because we can move rooms and haven’t committed the crib to one spot yet. All in all, now that I know, if I had to purchase myself I definitely would!

I have 4 kids. My kids have all co slept with me except for my 4th. I was ready to have my bed back and my sleep back. I never put the other 3 in their own room due to fear. With this monitor my daughter has been sleeping in her own room since she turned 3 months. She has slept so amazing and the advice I have gotten from the app made the transition that much smoother. I will sit in my room with my husband watching our show while I watch her sleep. I love watching her put herself to sleep. I have been able to put her back to sleep by shhhhshing her from the intercom. I have captured moments between her and her father and her brothers that I saw when they thought I wasn’t watching. I am going to be purchasing the breathing band and the sleep sack as I think having that additional peace of mind knowing her breathing will take this to the next level for me. My sisters in different states can watch her sleep. My mom can watch her. My husband can talk to her when he’s at work through the intercom if she wakes up while I shower. I absolutely love this monitor. 10/10 recommend. My only suggestion would be to be able add in when they fall asleep and for how long for better sleep Analysis. She doesn’t always sleep in her crib and if I don’t have her in her crib it will say that I put her to sleep late when she infect is just asleep in her crib in my room. But still the best thing ever!
