Update removed the best feature

The app used to be easy to use, allowing me to approve a verification request from my phone’s notifications or from my Apple Watch. I regret updating the app because now I can’t do either. Now, I have to open the app, swipe down to refresh the screen, wait for the verification request to appear, then finally click approve. This is all a complete waste of time when they had a feature that worked just fine. My job requires me to regularly change my password, so now it’s a bigger headache to go through the new verification approval process for multiple devices. PLEASE UNDO THIS CHANGE.

Thanks for your amazing feedback. We had good reason to remove the Apple Watch approval feature when v3 was released, but it is coming in v3.1.0. Hopefully the improvements will change how you rated the app.

Horrible App

If you delete this app after setting up two step authentication you will not be able to gain access to any of the online accounts that this app authenticated. After spending hours on the phone with helpdesk, they had no resolution other than waiting up to 3 to 4 weeks for the IT department to delete the account information from the website authenticated profile. The OHID BMV needs to remove this as an option for two step verification this app and process is worse than anything I’ve ever seen. I deleted this app. It’s horrible.

Developer Response
Thanks for the feedback. If you created a MFA or 2FA account in the app, then proceeded to delete the app, all data i.e the accounts you created are deleted as well. This is typical behaviour when you remove an app from your device. Works as designed! If you set up a new device then OTP (2FA account) are transferred to the new device, for security reason, MFA account are not.

I like the design of this verify app, it’s straightforward. Only think I’d change is move the add account button to the bottom as iPhone X users have trouble hitting it.

• Sign in more easily with improved QR code setup guidance, making it quicker to connect accounts and get started. • Enjoy a smoother authentication experience with improved handling of transaction approvals and clearer transaction details directly from your notifications • Better visibility of migrated accounts by identifying one-time password (OTP) accounts that require attention after an update. • Improved accessibility support to ensure one-time password (OTP) codes display correctly when using larger text sizes. • Customize the appearance by choosing between light, dark or system modes for a more personal experience. • Performance and reliability improvements across the app for a more consistent experience.
