I need to group text customers for work, so I’ve been desperately looking for a feature that lets me just use phone numbers instead of contacts when I’m creating a group.The customers are always changing so it’s not practical to create contacts for everyone every week, and it’s certainly not professional to save customers personal info like that. Am I just no finding this feature? Or is it not even there? Seems like all these apps require contacts, but having the ability to just type phone numbers in seems like a no brainer for a group texting app. Am I missing something???

I like the way this app works. It did take a while to straighten it out. You have to shut of iMessage which they tell you, but you also need to turn off MMS to able to reach everyone in your group. I have an iPhone and those all go through to other iPhones with MMS but the androids will not. Other times with MMS on, the you will get the error message “failed to send”. Never the same twice. When I downloaded the app I did not get an icon placed on my Home Screen. To open the program I have to go to the App Store, search for group texting, and then open the app from there when it comes up. I have been working with support for 4 days to try to find out how to get an icon on the Home Screen but they don’t seem to understand what it is I want or that the possibility of the download not installing an icon would exist within their realm. I am a church music director and I have about 14 separate groups that I am in contact with. It would be helpful if I could choose more than one of those groups at a time to send a group text to when various rehearsals with various groups come up. Hopefully they will work on this in the future. I paid for a full year’s access. I like the fact that everyone in my groups actually gets all the texts. This was not always true with other apps of this type. Good work on this, Group Text team! I just wish I could get to the app a little more easily with an icon on the Home Screen.THE SUPPORT TEAM HAS BEEN QUICK AND THOROUGH IN THE RESOLUTION OF THE ICON PROBLEM. MANY TIMES APP SUPPORT IS POOR. THAT IS NOT THE CASE WITH THIS COMPANY. THEY ARE ATTENTIVE AND ON THE BALL. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM. THEY ARE PEOPLE YOU CAN COMMUNICATE WITH. NO STOCK COMPUTER GENERATED RESPONSES HERE. I HAVE UPDATED MY RATING FROM 3 TO 5 STARS.

They will steal $9.99 from you and not care about basic questions or basic support. You can cancel your subscription, but good luck getting a refund. They don’t offer a large quantity text option for businesses. When the app fails to send the text or crashes on multiple occasions and you ask for basic support, they won’t respond, but they will only respond with a auto generated message that says “we think you’re talking about getting a refund or cancelling your subscription” very impersonal and unprofessional. If they can’t handle running this app why create it? To scam people out of $9.99 one time because if they can scam 1 million people out of that they’ve become rich. The app doesn’t work it crashes and they offer no support. They’re committing scam and fraud and it’s a rip off in my opinion. They should be investigated in my opinion and possibly charged with FRAUD! The app crashes they offer no support whatsoever for basic questions and it’s false advertising. I would like my $9.99 refunded immediately. I would like confirmation that my contacts are deleted from their database because in my opinion, they’re untrustworthy with sensitive information. Due to their lack of communication.

My daughter was recently diagnosed with leukemia and we needed a way to text family and friends for updates. Exactly what we needed. I have multiple groups, family, school, friends, and can send updates to appropriate groups. Each message can be private if set up properly and nobody sees everyone else’s information, responses only come to me. It is a valuable tool because some people don’t have “SNAP” and some people don’t get everything in email because of filters.Update: it’s been a week now of twice daily usage. Works as expected. Groups of up to 60 people, however, If you stick to all text it works great, but...sending emojis 😀 may cause text to not be sent individually, also read carefully and follow guides to watch the size of the group and pictures, but still working great 👍👍
