I have been using this app for coming up on a year now and even know they upped the price I think it is totally worth it if you use it all the time like I do. One thing I do not like about the new update is now at the end of every meditation it ends with a piano tune. It used to just end and go into silence and I liked that because the sounds would help me get into a zone but I would usually go for at least another few minutes after in silence. Now with the ending piano tune it is really loud and quite frankly I find it obnoxious. I get some people may like it but it would be great if there was a way to at least turn it off so it was like before. All in all though the app has amazing features and sounds and I hope that can get changed because you guys have done a great job with everything else.

Be wary of the price

I discovered Slowdive via Facebook and although it seemed a bit expensive I really liked what I heard so decided to sign up for the deal of $99 a year. Imagine my surprise when I got logged out of the app and was asked to purchase a plan, the most expensive plan was lifetime $70. I despise unethical bate and switch type practices. I asked for a refund and they did promptly respond but the questions they needed answered before they would refund were bizarre and made me very uncomfortable as I am wondering why my order number is not good enough. They want the make and model of my phone, a screen print of me in the app, proof of the method of payment and two other items by memory. Very sketchy. I actually was enjoying the app the few times I used it but the different prices depending on how you sign up and not being able to process a refund based on order number is very concerning. Why is there no site to review that clearly lays out pricing at what you get? Do your homework before signing up but good luck as there is very little info. Giving one star due to the shady pricing policies and questionable refund steps.

Life changing

Going thru a divorce, with three teenage kids in the middle. Working two jobs to be able to provide. Just to paint a picture of what may have been going on in my head. Everyone tells you to calm down and to think. To slow the mind down, but it was impossible for me. Restless nights with nothing but garbage going thru my head. With the plan SLOWDIVE built for me. After the first two nights I already felt the difference. I would wake up in the morning and usually a storm of thoughts would rush in. Not anymore. My mind was clear, I felt focused, rested.I would and have recommended this app to family members who are dealing with things that are out of their control. 😁 that’s everyone I think. Everyone should try this at least for a few nights. It’s truly life changing.
