Always making it easier

The app is really solid. I’m able put in my availability, and have the choice of what jobs I want to pick up. I had some issues when the app started originally, but the customer support through the app has been really helpful and all those issues have been resolved through the recent updates.

I’ve been using Nowsta for quite some time, and this recent update is a major downgrade. The new interface feels unintuitive, cluttered, and far less efficient than before. Many of the practical features that made the app easy to use are either buried or completely gone.For example, I can no longer see the total number of hours for a shift, and the app now exposes my total monthly earnings right as I open the app… something that feels intrusive and unnecessary since there is already a earning page. The performance has also dropped significantly; it takes several seconds to fully load, causing me to miss work requests because of the lag.From a UX standpoint, this redesign feels like a case of prioritizing aesthetics over usability. The previous version wasn’t perfect, but it was functional, fast, and easy to navigate. Instead of fixing bugs and optimizing the existing design, Nowsta chose to overhaul everything… AND… unfortunately, it’s made the experience much worse. The new interface feels like it was designed to impress rather than serve its users. Please take the time to review user feedback and consider rolling back or improving these changes.. the app used to be reliable, and right now it’s simply not.

Good App but Annoying New Update

I have used this app while working for a catering company for over 3 years. During this time the app has been a great tool for myself and the company as a whole. The app has many helpful features and functions as a catch-all for company scheduling. However, a recent update made the app much less convenient. The update removed the “Team” tab from accepted shifts which would allow a worker to see everyone they are working with that shift. I do not understand why this change was made and I am leaving a 3 star review in hopes of getting an explanation from the devs. If the “Team” tab is restored or an adequate explanation is given to me by the devs I will change the review to 5 stars.

I see below that someone else has written a complaint about the teams tab being removed and they were told to contac the company regarding this. In my opinion, the company shouldn't have the option to remove this tab. I can't think of many jobs where you're "not allowed" to see who you are working with, so I don't really understand why this is appropriate to offer to clients. This option feels pretty anti-worker to me. I really enjoyed this app until I realized it gave employers the option to belittle their employees by withholding shift information.
