Supports iOS 16+ and iPadOS 16+. Fix a problem (occurring at iOS 16.1) when connecting with another BriJ player. Fix an occasional inability to subscribe to remove Ads. Fix an issue which sometimes prevented Internet access. Fix an issue with the bridge Inverted Minor convention.

New conventions now offered via an options choice: “Finding NT or Major games”. You can turn on “Fourth Suit Forcing” and either “Crowhurst” or “New Minor Forcing”. These all help in choosing between a suit and a NT contract and whether to go for game. Also more refined bidding when choosing between a suit and NT contract. New option to show your cards with suits re-aligned to Dummy. You may turn this off in ‘Bidding and Playing options’. Improvements when connecting with another player, after choosing to defend against your partner’s contract. Improvements to “Two Over One” and ”Forcing 1 NT” response, including an explanation in hints for why these conventional bids do not apply in some cases. BriJ now supports the optional use of Dark Mode as introduced in the latest versions of iOS and iPadOS. There are also several cosmetic changes to improve appearance in, for example, the icon bar, bidding box and options screens. The card table is enlarged to suit tall iPhones. Fixes: removed spurious underlines on scoresheet; a problem with unresponsive BridgeWebs “download as pbn” is eliminated (for iPad in landscape mode). Rare freezes when relaunching BriJ from a background state are now avoided.

BJ Bridge Pro now works more consistently with the most recently released iPhones and iPads as well as the latest iOS and iPadOS 13.3 operating systems. For example, the ‘options’ screens are easier to use and the BriJ screens make better use of the available space on the latest iPhones. Some minor improvements.

This version adds the "Two Over One" convention. You can choose this option from the Bidding Style options page to extend Standard American (SAYC) or any of the other basic bidding methods in BriJ Pro. In 2/1 a level 2 bid of a new suit over partner's 1 suit opener is forcing to game. A 1NT over partner's 1 suit opener is forcing for one round. For details and any exceptions, view your convention card once 2/1 is selected. For anyone unfamiliar with Duplicate Bridge scoring, touch a score in the scoresheet results to see how the result has been calculated. Scoresheet results are now sorted into the order of scores. Your own score is highlighted so that you can compare it with other player results. Small fixes.

You can now listen to music when playing BriJ. Look and feel is improved in the bidding phase. Auto play choices of ‘slow’, ‘medium’ and ‘fast’ now run at a slower pace. The auto button is disabled when necessary. Target tricks now only show if requested. Bidding and Play improvements as in the last version. Fixed a recent problem for devices where the language is not English. Other minor fixes and improved stability.

New 'Slow Auto Play' choice in the Options settings. Many improvements made to bidding precision. Better defensive play strategy in 2nd seat. Fixes.

Fix for version 1.2.0. Without a Wifi connection, BJ Bridge terminated after showing scores.

Introduce a “News” page to keep BriJ players up-to-date with events. Remove duplicate session results in score page after repeatedly loading a club deal file. Stability improvements.
