Haven’t had any issues when using the EVGateway chargers I have come across. Please add a lesser amount than the $20 you have in the app to fund accounts. $10 would be great, or add the option for inputting any amount $10 or more.

They hardcoded if you open the app with a spotty Internet connection, it logs you out, like I don’t know, a parking garage?? Horrible interface, no tap to charge, which every other charging app has, slow UI where every UI element is blocked if there’s another action taking place (such amateur programming).My company unfortunately switched to EvGateway to save money. And it shows. This is the worst app I’ve ever seen. 2019 ChargePoint app was better than this. It randomly logs you out, UI freezes while they load network requests, RFID card doesn’t work. Avoid if you can. Their entire support is also outsourced and they lie about “finding the issue.”I was also charged for a session I wasn’t physically around the charger for, so very very bad software engineering here.

Constant instability with networks being down. Half of the time I attempt to start charging through the app, following exactly what customer support has told me , making sure the plug is already connected to my car, starting the charge through the app, the charging doesn’t start. I’ve never had these types of issues with Chargepoint. I reach out to live support very often, and I requested a complimentary RFID card due to all the instability issues I experience. After three times trying to follow up through live support, still nothing. Unreliable charging network, and when I ask what exactly the issues are, customer support is unable to specify what the issues are or even provide an ETA. Take your business elsewhere.
Authenticates more than a banking app

I hate using this app. If I wasn’t required to use it to charge at work, I would do everything I could to charge elsewhere. It logs me out constantly, every few days. It’s an awful experience to go to use a charger, and just as you open it, you have to log in yet again even though you just did so a couple of days prior. Not only that, no matter which method you choose to log in (phone number+OTP or email/password), you’re forced to then verify via the other method you didn’t choose. Why do I have to verify and then further authenticate even more?
