I downloaded this app to help with an embroidery project once I realized I could see my phone screen through the canvas. I used Guided Access at first but I couldn’t figure out why it wasn’t turning on when I needed it, so I got this app because it had the same premise with the light board feature. I uploaded my image and set the lock and began tracing, but every time I would adjust the canvas it would press the button that turned off lock mode and moved the picture around. Still think it’s a really cool app though and it’d probably work great with paper or a thinner fabric.

This app is amazing to use because it is so easy and also fun. the screen lock works very smoothly. You can also use this app to learn how to draw easily and In a more fun way then maybe taking and paying for other expensive art classes. Another thing is that it is 100% free except for the $2.99 dollar V.I.P pass which is very cheap and works very well. It gives you so many options to draw and learn. You can still easily use this amazing app without paying $2.99. Another reason why I absolutely love this app is because you can adjust the lighting or the size and angle you want the picture to be. Sometimes I just use this app to relax because this is also very calming and satisfying. These are just some of the million reasons why I like this app but overall definitely recommend. I originally downloaded this app in order to do some hand drawn art. However I discovered another use for it when I was going through some DIY Clothing TikTok‘s and I realize that I could copy images onto tissue paper to embroider onto my clothes. This is really great for anyone who has seen a TikTok DIY where they magically put images onto clothes but don’t tell you how. I was able to use all the features, the light box, the flip, the lock, and make different sizes of the same image for different pieces of clothing. I’m excited to put an anatomical heart on a sweatshirt, on one of my baseball caps, and on a tote in the future. I will also be making stencils for some bleach art. Thank you Kevin! This app is so amazing, And I’m pretty sure there’s no ads or there’s just so little. And you don’t have to like buy anything. There are so many different types of tracing, it’s amazing (only three types but they prove my point about amazing)This app literally has so many options there is an option for light box which lights up the screen and changes it in a certain way so that it’s easier when you trace on paper, another is the image protector which is the one I use because it’s the easiest one for me ( it puts the picture that you put from your camera role on the screen and you can change the opacity and edit it in ways that help you) , the last option is Digital paint where you get to draw on the iPad screen and the picture is also there.
