Of all the idle games, this one has kept my attention the longest

I’ve played a lot of tycoon/idle/offline games and something people don’t always understand once you have progressed farther than the beginning of the game is patience. This game like many others starts off very very very slow. At first I was kind of bored with it. But I had played AdCap before so I knew that things would speed up after a bit, so I kept playing. At first the game didn’t make a ton of sense, but as I began to understand it I really enjoyed it. The game sped up and I was ranking up fast, and there was always something to do. After a couple of days though, the game becomes slow, and this is when you need patience again. This isn’t a game where you get addicted and wanna play it for hours a day at a time, because there’s simply nothing you can do. I recommend checking in on the game 3 times a day or more depending on where you are at in the game. I love this game because it stands out from other games and has an interesting concept. I don’t think I would’ve liked this game if I didn’t have experience with other slow idle games, but since I’m patient and fine with checking in only a few times a day, it’s a pretty fun game. The progress may be slow but never ends. I don’t have a whole lot to say really because it is such a simple game but if you took the time to read this I’d say it’s worth trying and definitely great to add to your collection of idle games to play while you’re bored, on a road trip, on a plane, or anywhere really. Great Idle Game ... and Kudos to the Developers

I’ve been playing this game since it’s first mobile iteration. I was reluctant when they changed the format, but I quickly grew to love the new version (as much as someone can “love” a video game). The game is challenging, and the events are different enough to keep your interest on a boring weekend. The only drawback is that, without paying, it takes longer and longer to increase your ranks. I really don’t mind tossing them a few bucks every now and then, since it probably means that I’m not sitting at a bar. 😂 I only wish that they would reward long-term, “dues paying” members in the events with a little “something”. Additionally, although the event themes are broad enough to not become too repetitive, more varied events would be welcomed. Overall, I would give this game 4 to 4.5 stars, which brings me to my next point ...They earn their additional star on customer service. I recently posted a 2-star review for this game, based on the thought that they had changed the reward timer (based on watching ads), which could have made it incredibly time consuming and difficult. Come to find out, I WAS WRONG! They had merely moved the location of the timer button, but still made it accessible on each page. Instead of calling me a moron—which would have been a fair assessment—they asked for additional input and insight. And, their response was incredibly rapid. For that, they get my additional star!

Pretty Solid Comrade Dating Simulator

I played this game when I first came out and I loved it! It’s was a really well done and fun experience that I personally think tops all the other big clicker games. When I came back to the game and saw how different it was I will admit I was highly confused at first. However, after playing the game for a while and starting to understand the new mechanics like the crates and the scientist cards, I have to admit that I’m a big fan of all the new changes they have made. I think that they have definitely improved the overall look of the game as well. I just find the new set up aesthetically pleasing. Over all I think that the new update for the game has really put it on a good track for the future. I know this game is getting a lot of bad reviews right now from old fans who aren’t okay with the change. Whenever an app makes a big change like this you are always going to see these things, but it’s important to look at things without nostalgia in mind. I think that all of the changes have made the game a lot more fun. I kinda played the old version, but I've already made it to rank 35 (the max rank as of writing this review) in this version and I find myself highly anticipating the next release of an update. Devs if you are out there I would love to get some dates 😘. In conclusion, the new version of this app has quickly become my number one comrade dating sim. 10/10

Missing the Charm of Capitalism

I really like this game. You can look at all the other reviews to get an idea of all the good this game has. I 100% agree with them. The thing I want to touch on is how the game feels compared to its adversary Adventure Capitalist. I feel that this game is missing the charm it’s predecessor had. There were so many things that made Adventure Capitalist enjoyable. The two I wanted to touch on were the hilarious amounts of money and all of the little references and jokes whenever you bought an upgrade. I feel like that’s missing from this game. The long, made-up numbers of octosextillion are no longer here and are replaced with simple letters. This was a huge letdown for me. Second, the jokes are references aren’t as freelance as they were in Adventure Capitalist. You used to have so many upgrades with short little lines for each. Now there are portraits with a quote in them, but it’s not as easily to enjoy it. A casual player could simply tap right through all the portraits and get back to farming potatoes. And the quotes for each portrait are only accessible if you tap on the portrait in your own time. I feel like this brings a lot of charm out of the game. It would be nicer if the little quotes for each portrait were easier to see while casually playing through the game. Also, I wish the exaggerated numbers would return. That was one of my favorite parts of Adventure Capitalist. Now, back to spending all of my comrades on potatoes!
