Stop unwanted catalogs, credit card offers and other paper junk mail. Snap a photo with PaperKarma and we'll handle the opt-out request for you.
Spend less time sorting, shredding and recycling mail you never asked for. PaperKarma helps you contact the senders and get off their mailing lists, without researching each company's opt-out process yourself.
HOW IT WORKS
1. Take a photo of the mailer's name, logo or return address.
2. Confirm the sender and select the name and address shown on your mail.
3. Tap Unsubscribe. We send the opt-out request on your behalf.
CHOOSE WHAT YOU WANT TO STOP
Request removal from mailing lists for catalogs, credit card and insurance offers, charity solicitations, and other unwanted mail from national and local businesses.
Your bills, statements and important account mail are not affected. You choose which senders to unsubscribe from.
MAIL FOR SOMEONE WHO MOVED OUT?
Save multiple names and addresses, including name variations and previous residents receiving junk mail at your home. Select the exact name and address printed on each piece for the best match.
PRIVACY MATTERS
We do not sell, rent or trade your mail photos, name or address. We share the information needed to carry out the opt-out you request. If a mailer requires your email address or phone number to verify an opt-out, we ask for your specific consent first. See our Privacy Policy for details.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Stopping mail takes time. Allow 8-12 weeks after your request is processed for mail already scheduled or printed to work through the system. Timing and results depend on the sender.
PaperKarma works with addressed postal junk mail in the 50 United States. It cannot stop Every Door Direct Mail (EDDM), unaddressed flyers, or election and ballot-issue postcards. Mail addressed only to a generic recipient such as "Current Resident" is generally not supported.

PaperKarma helps you request removal from mailing lists for 100,000+ national and local mailers, charities and organizations. Examples include Capital One, American Express, Discover, Allstate, GEICO, State Farm, Restoration Hardware (RH), Wayfair, Valpak, Money Mailer, Save.com, AT&T and Xfinity.

This has become one of my favorite apps. At first it felt like a lot of work to set up and I wasn’t seeing immediate results. But then I just got in the habit of snapping a pic of every item of junk mail I get and tossing it in the recycling bin. Patience paid off, because after a few months, I’m seeing my junk mail volume starting to go way down! Although, some requests seem to be in a “processing” queue for several weeks, which feels a bit too long to me. Another opportunity for improvement is recognizing mailers when scanning mail could be improved. Overall though, this app is well worth it.
Developer Response
Thank you! Feel free to reach out to us at human@paperkarma.com so we can check on those pending requests for you. Often times this is due to our sending requests in "batches" once or twice per month to the mailers, based on our agreed protocols with them.
App works wonderfully!!

I hardly get any junk mail anymore. I been using this app and a few other tricks to get rid of junk mail. First, I started taking all the mail that comes with a return envelope and sending that mail back to the company. Write on the envelope, “take me off your list”. Include your home address to make it easier for the company to take you off their list. To get off of the Redplum ads, you have to go their website and use their unsubscribe page. To get off the ads that are apart of your newspaper company, you have to write to the newspaper. I don’t get the newspaper but I was getting their annoying ads. I have been ad free for three years maybe. I do all that and I use this ap. I get one or two pieces of junk mail a month. I started using this app a few years ago. It has changed my life. Now, mostly get bills in the mail. Some days, I get zero mail. I love it because I feel like I’m helping the environment. I’m saving paper or a tree. The more people use this app. the more we do good things for the environment. It’s exciting when someone sends me a card in the mail. It’s not all mixed up with a bunch of junk. Stuff won’t get lost. I really appreciate this app. I enjoy being paper free. I recommend this app to someone who can’t seem to get his mail situation under control. I hope he uses the app. Thank you PaperKarma for making apart of my life paper free. :)
Give it a couple months and you’ll start to notice the difference.

We’ve been using PaperKarma for several months now, and the difference really stood out when we went out of town. When we returned, we had only about a sixth of the mail we’d received during the same trip the previous year.Last year, after placing a mail hold with the post office, we came home to nearly five pounds of mail—almost all of it junk, aside from a few holiday cards from family and friends. This year, after using PaperKarma and being gone for the same amount of time, we had only a couple of advertising pieces. Everything else was legitimate mail from friends, family, or businesses we actually needed to hear from.Be patient—you’ll see that it works. Keep taking photos of the mailers you don’t want, and over time the junk pile really does shrink.
Reduced junk mail!

When I moved into my condo as a first-time home owner, I was getting dozens of advertising mail every week for the past previous owners and there were many. I would see several different household names that the mail was addressed to. I’ve been using this app for 4 years since I moved in and have seen a big difference in the reduced mail I get now. It took a few weeks/months to see the majority of the mail reduce. Now I only get mail addressed to me (with an occasional random mail to someone else) but I can even eliminate the ones I don’t want to get. As I keep getting mail from random companies, I keep using this app. The companies I request to stop sending mail, do actually stop. This has been such a useful service and is really worth it. So grateful it exists.
We've added thousands(!) of new mailers you can now opt out from, including national, regional and local mailers.
Speed improvements, recognition improvements and infrastructure updates.
