Zero customer support when things go wrong

Booked a court at Sport Time Randalls Island for December 12th at 10pm. Got a confirmation in the app, drove all the way there, and the facility said I wasn’t in their system. They gave my court away for a tournament with zero notice.Now I’m stuck between CatchCorner and Sport Time with no way to get a refund. The app has NO customer service phone number. None. So I can’t even call to resolve this.When a booking platform takes your money and confirms your reservation, the absolute bare minimum is having a way for customers to contact you when things go wrong. Email support isn’t good enough for time-sensitive issues like this.The app works fine when everything goes smoothly, but the second there’s a problem, you’re completely on your own. What’s the point of a booking platform if they can’t help when their partner facilities mess up?Either add real customer support or stop charging for reservations you can’t guarantee. This is unacceptable for a paid service.

I mistakenly made the wrong reservation last weekend and immediately reached out to CatchCorner to see if they could change the reservation, issue a refund, or provide a credit. Unfortunately, they were unable to offer any solution. I found this extremely unfair, as mistakes happen and we are all human. I didn’t understand why a credit or some form of accommodation couldn’t be provided, and I felt the situation was handled unprofessionally.Fortunately, the facility where I made the reservation was far more understanding. They took the time to hear me out, acknowledged my frustration, and were able to accommodate me by providing the field I originally intended to rent.
