In theory when the system works it ok. But it works 40% of the time. But I’ve owned my apt 15 years and I have had go down more time in the last six months to let people in because system wasn’t working. I’ve missed numerous deliveries So now the issue is the locksmith, but the owner of the companh all he’s was concerned about was getting me off the phone My association tried to get out if our contract but we are being told we have pay out or contract. $18k. In the morning your not able to read the screen if you have direct sunlight. I would not recommend, save your bldg the headaches and being locked in a contract for something that a alway has issues

Complete nightmare for any tenant. This system NEVER works. It was installed in our building in the West Village. Now our packages never arrive. Delivery guys get frustrated so our food can never get delivered. Our doorbell rings but only long after someone tries to buzz – reason is it relies on the cell networks and cell coverage – so spotty service means your doorbell can never ring. When we asked how such a crappy system was installed in our historic building, we were told it was given for free to the management company. If you get this crap for free – you are overpaying! All tenant have a similar experience.

This app is horribly designed. It has one job and that is to let you buzz people in and unlock the door. You can’t do this, though. You can only buzz someone in if they call, but the calls fail 75% of the time. If the call fails, you don’t have the option to buzz again. Please ad a buzz feature to the app!!! You shouldn’t have to be called in order to unlock the door when the call fails so often

This is a much needed improvement over our old intercom. Our building had a different internet video system and the calls rarely worked, so they switched to GateGuard and it's much more reliable. Now we get the buzz every time, and we don't miss guests or packages. It's very pretty, too.
