Screen share on LG TV from your iPhone or iPad with the best screen mirroring app. Easily enjoy series, videos, movies, sports or apps on your big TV. Try it today!
Application to mirror the screen of your iPhone or iPad to any LG Smart TV. No wires and no additional hardware needed! You can mirror any app on your iPhone or iPad to your LG TV.
This works on any LG Smart TV from the 2012 models onward.
In using the app, there will be a couple of seconds of latency (usually between 1 and 3). So this mirroring is not suitable for gaming.
However, it is very suitable for watching movies, giving presentations, watching photos, and much more!
How the app works:
1. Make sure that your iPhone or iPad is connected to the same local network as your LG TV. Don't use multiple VLANs, a VPN or subnets.
2. Launch the Mirror for LG TV app. It will start looking for your LG TV(s) on your local network. When a TV is found, please select it. When you use this app for the first time, depending on your model LG TV, the TV might ask you to "allow" the connection. In that case, take your TV Remote Control and press OK to allow the connection from your TV to your iPhone or iPad.
3. Turn on notifications for this app. We will not spam you, but we will use this to let you know if your TV is working correctly or not. So please, please allow it, otherwise when things don't work as they should, you are left in the dark.
4. Click on Start Mirroring to start mirroring on the TV that is currently selected. After that, you can just go to any other app on your iPhone or iPad and the mirroring just continues to run.
5. To stop mirroring, there are two options. (1) click on the red top bar that you will see on your iPhone or iPad. (2) Go to the Mirror for LG TV app and click on Stop Mirroring.
Limitations and known issues:
DRM
Some apps block Screen Mirroring. This means that application developers can choose themselves if they want to block Screen Mirroring. For instance, Netflix, Disney and AppleTV+ have decided to block this.
There is a simple test that you can do to see if the app that you want to mirror has blocked Screen Mirroring:
Open that particular app and slide up Control Center on your iPhone/iPad. Then, click on Screen Recording and start recording the screen to your Camera Roll. Watch the app that you want to mirror and at some point stop the screen recording. Then go to your Photos app and watch the video that was recorded. If the recorded video shows the app you want to mirror, it works fine. If the video is empty, then the app you want to mirror does not allow Screen Mirroring.
About Screen Recording and Privacy
Even though there are notifications about Screen Recording, we don't record your screen into files and we don't send any content to a server. We only temporarily store data in memory, before it is streamed to TV. Upon streaming, the content is removed from memory.
You can purchase the Mirror for LG TV Pro Version through an in app purchase.
The Pro Version has the following features:
1. Adds audio to the screen mirroring
2. Provides for free lifetime updates of the app
3. Gives the option to choose higher screen resolutions, like 720p and 1080p

I have an iPhone 7. The standard screen sharing on my LG just wasn’t supportive of apple for some reason.. I found this app and downloaded. Immediately I needed help, things weren’t connecting.. ugh..I was expecting to get put in a long line or be put on hold or something when reaching out to the “help” tab on this app. I was a bit frustrated initially after paying 5 bucks and it not work! But my angst spiked then quickly subsided when following the immediate automated response from the help center via messenger, I got a message from an actual person. I mean like within 30 seconds. He/she gave me step by step directions on how to fix the problem. The nice thing about communication being on messenger was that I could actually send photos of my tv screen on what I was seeing and what I need to push. He/she was very patient with me as I’m not very tech savvy.. he/she stayed on messenger with me through thick and thin. I mean we were trying to get this thing to work for like 30 minutes. Mostly my fault, I’m sure, for only being about 80% sure which piece of LED stricken black box magic was the WiFi router.. I’m actually mirroring my screen as I type this review. It’s about a 1 second delay but that’s fine. The nice thing is you can turn the volume all the way down on your phone and use your remote to turn the volume up on your tv. That way you don’t have that 1 second audio delay echo. It also auto flips so you can watch a video on your phone sideways (landscape) and it will show up on the entire tv screen. I asked whomever I was speaking with their name so I could spread praise on how helpful they were. However he/she stuck to the selfless, thankless creed in which they agreed and did not give me their name. They didn’t rudely shut me down either when I had asked, they simply changed the subject to yet more useful information pertaining to the app. I respect that. Not all hero’s wear capes. But this app’s development team/customer support staff deserves much more than capes.

Works Sometimes But Only for a Minute or So

I’m not asking for much. I just want to display Ultimate Guitar Tabs to have a jam with friends. I have started the mirroring about 8 or 10 times since installing the free version about 20 minutes ago. Each time I am prompted to upgrade. Who would want to pay for an upgrade with the performance I have experienced? On a few occasions, the mirroring didn’t start at all. On the occasions when my iPad did successfully cast to the TV (LG 55UH7650), the connection remained for only a brief time. The longest was less than three minutes. Most were less than a minute and some were as short as a few seconds before the app terminated the connection. In some cases, I got a popup message that says something like “You are watching in HD. This resolution will stop soon.” I didn’t capture the exact wording, but the TV soon displayed just a plain green screen for a few seconds. Then I got a popup message that said, “Screen Broadcasting - Live Broadcast to Mirror LG TV has stopped due to: Attempted to Start an invalid broadcast session.” This occurred while I was not doing anything with the iPad; after displaying the guitar tab, I was just looking at the TV and playing guitar along to the tab. This happened regardless whether the tab was scrolling on the iPad or stationary. The popup message I get has options to click “OK” or “Go to Application.” If I click “OK,” the popup just closes. If I click “Go to Application,” I get to see the invitation to upgrade, from which I can go back to the prior screen and re-start the mirroring and receive another dose of pain. I think it would be foolish to expect performance to improve after paying for the “upgrade.” It seems unlikely I have downloaded a useful application.

Hello and thanks for your feedback. From your story we cannot identify the exact reason. It could be one of the apps, perhaps a connection error or other technical reasons. Could you please send us the 'AirBeamTV Log' from within the app (Support Menu)? We would love to have a look at it for you. Thanks!
Wow! Amazing Service!

Downloaded this app tonight in preparation for in home schooling for my twins Monday. I wanted to be able to display some of the celebrities reading books and other educational sites for us to learn together on Monday. I couldn’t get the tv hooked up and emailed diagnostic support and the response was fast and effective. They responded immediately- asked a few questions- sent me back guidance on what to do and it worked and we are connected and ready for Monday. Thank you so much!! Really really really great service on a late Saturday night. Thank you again!!
You got 6 seconds, what do you want to watch?

I own a LG webOS TV UH610A and iPhone 11 Pro Max that is compatible with this app; However, I can only screen mirror 6 seconds of my phone.I’ve followed the steps of what was listed in the Support FAQ provided by the company, and I found myself back in the same spot an hour and half ago. (Amazing right?)As I’ve read all the reviews, the common issue everyone seems to have is similar to what I am experiencing. Developer’s responses are on majority of the reviews, and one I’ve read was “We only allow 6 seconds of casting to give you an opportunity to see what the full membership is.” This is where this flawed app gets the one star review.I made a purchase to subscribe to this app for one month. ($9.99) The options they have listed are the following: Monthly/$9.99 , Annual/$30 , Lifetime/ $60. Now, after reading the smirk response from the developer on how the limited preview was an “experience” subscribed members, I made the commitment to paying monthly, to only get 6 seconds of screen time. The app has a support FAQ that is provided to you and gives you an email to contact support. I followed the directions that was listed in the support FAQ, and this is the ridiculous part; The last option the support FAQ wants you to do before contacting Airbeam’s Tech support is reset the wifi router. ALL THE DEVICES in my house that are connected to my WiFi work better as expected, do you wanna take a wild guess on what still doesn’t work? If you guessed this app… 💁🏽♂️🛎️🛎️🛎️ you are correct, I’ve now caught you up with my experience of using this app. Please take my advice: save yourself $10 and phone memory, 2 hours of your time, and your brain cells by not purchasing this app. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED, going further and double pressing the side button is the last thing you want to do for this app.
