Why force Bluetooth when there’s a dedicated USB port?

I guess my TUF X99 board might be old now, but why can’t I use the dedicated TUF Detective USB on it to view post? If it has Bluetooth, it’s never worked. Don’t care for it to anyway, it’s a mobo. I’m going to go see if I can dig up the original app mentioned in my manual so I might can get some use out of it over USB.

Doesn’t work. Asus Sabertooth Intel motherboard all I know is that this app was advertised on the box it came in but it clearly doesn’t work!

Just purchased a TUF Z270 Mark 1 and saw this app in the App Store, so I went out and bought an Asus USB Bluetooth dongle exclusively for this purpose. When I couldn’t get it to connect I contacted Asus support who told me that TUF Dectective is only compatible with Android. Why would this be in the Apple App Store if there isn’t iOS compatibility? Weird move, Asus. I can’t possibly imagine what the purpose of releasing this app would be.
Does not work on iPhone.
