・ Fixed an issue that caused the app to repeatedly fail to start up. ・ Fixed an issue where the app would force close while restoring files during startup.

・ Fixed an issue where some operations would become unresponsive after temporarily switching to a tool and using Smart Shape, then switching out of the temporary tool while still in editing mode.

・ Smart Shape has been added. Draw and correct freehand drawn lines into clean straight lines, curves, and shapes without changing your drawing tool. ・ 3D hand models have been added. Pose and customize them to use as a reference. ・ New app icon and splash screen on startup. ・ You can now pop-up the Tool Group palette and Tool Settings palette from the Tools palette. You can also pop-up the Color Wheel palette and the Color Set palette by tapping the color icon. You can toggle these settings from the "Pop-up related palettes" for each tool menu in the Tools palette. ・ You can now display materials by how often you use them. Set it from the Material palette menu > Sorting > Frequency. ・ Every command from the Edit menu > Tonal Correction can now be applied to multiple layers. ・ The design of the Command Bar Settings icon displayed in places such as on the command bar and the Quick Access palette has changed. ・ The term Sub Tool has been changed to Tool. The interface and messages have been changed accordingly.

Several issues have been fixed.

・ If the screen for selecting doodle mode does not appear at startup, a “Continue offline” button will now appear. Tapping this button will launch Clip Studio Paint in doodle mode. ・ If the license verification has already been completed, a dialog box informing you of this will no longer appear after the splash screen when you launch Clip Studio Paint. ・ The way animation timelines play in Simple Mode has changed. Each frame is now easier to view. ・ A confirmation message for animations will now appear when you're editing an animation in Simple Mode and switch to Studio Mode.

Several issues have been fixed.

・ Fixed an issue so that selecting a hidden ruler in the Layer palette and using the Object sub tool will no longer move the entire layer or cause the application to crash. ・ Fixed an issue where downloading sub tool materials from Clip Studio Assets would cause the application to crash when operated a certain way when Sub Tool is turned on in the Material palette menu > Auto-install settings. ・ Unnecessary color profile-related files stored on the device are now deleted when the application is started.

・ Fixed an issue where using the Fill tool under certain conditions would cause the application to close.

・ The “Speed and Quality” setting has been added to the "Antialiasing" category in the "Tool Property" palette and the "Sub Tool Detail" palette for brush tools. This allows for faster rendering with a slightly blurred image quality. ・ You can now create basic animations in Simple Mode. ・ You can now automatically install materials to the corresponding palette when you download them from Clip Studio Assets. ・ Puppet warp has been added to the Move / Transform tool in Simple Mode. ・ “Color Profile" has been added to the "New" dialog. You can also adjust the color profile settings in the "Canvas Properties" dialog. ・ Layer comps can now be exported in batch for multi-page projects. You can set up layer comp export from the "Batch Export" dialog. ・ When you import a gltf format file or a PBR material in FBX or OBJ format, material parameters such as metallic feel and glossiness are reflected, enabling realistic textures to be expressed on 3D layers. ・ When using “Convert to lines and tones" > "3D Lines”, you can now choose a “Mode". Selecting “Standard” will extract lines that are more faithful to the 3D rendering than previous versions.

・When selecting a 3D layer, the Tool Property palette or Sub Tool Detail palette Object list can now toggle the visibility of multiple items by dragging, without certain middle items switching back. ・All text fields can now be moved correctly even when multiple text fields are selected in the Story editor and dragged and dropped onto another page. ・When running the tutorial in Simple Mode on a tablet, the display location of messages has been revised to improve usability. ・The Color profile preview is now reflected in the Color settings dialog box displayed in the drawing color area of the Color Mixing Palette. ・Expression color settings are now correctly reflected in the thumbnails of Adobe Photoshop documents (extension: psd) and large Adobe Photoshop documents (extension: psb) exported with Save Duplicate in the Files app.

・Studio Mode/Simple Mode switch button added ・You can now use 3D head models in Simple Mode. Place a head model on the canvas from the Material palette. ・The Sub View palette is now in Simple Mode. Use it to view reference images in a palette separate from the canvas. ・Log in to Clip Studio and tap Account to view My creative hours. With My creative hours, you can see the time you worked on the canvas in Clip Studio Paint as a graph with data for each day. Tap Start recording to start tracking your time. ・The visualization of curve graphs used in various dialogs and other settings has been improved. Control points are displayed at an appropriate size regardless of the display environment. The thickness and smoothness of the graph curves have also been improved. ・Clip Studio Paint will now restore or automatically overwrite the canvas when the interface is switched to Simple Mode when Save at regular intervals is turned on in Preferences > File. ・You can now change the direction of the guide line when performing commands under Edit > Transform. The ability to change the direction of the object to transform with the guide line makes it easier to scale up or down in the desired direction. ・You can now use a brush to draw on a 3D drawing figure or 3D primitive while a 3D layer is selected and the Display settings for editing in the Editing properties palette or Sub Tool Detail palette is set to Fast. ・Color profile preview will now be reflected in the Color Wheel and Color Palette.

・Either canvas recovery or an auto-save of the file is now performed when opening the Story editor. ・When multiple canvases are open, a message will now display to save the canvases. ・When a canvas is opened by executing Send to Clip Studio SHARE or Send to Clip Studio SHARE (webtoon) from the Clip Studio projects screen, if the canvas is already open then either canvas recovery or an auto-save of the file will be performed. ・Unsaved open canvas files will now be saved through canvas recovery or an auto-save of the file when opening a video file from Create new from photo library. ・When selecting a 3D drawing figure that has 3D texture paint and changing the sex in the Tool Properties palette, a message will now appear to confirm resetting the figure’s 3D painted areas. ・In the sub tools where the Input process is set to Lasso, the creation of areas such as selection areas and fills will now start correctly, even if the operation is performed faster under certain conditions. ・When an object is moved by dragging using the Object sub tool or the Edit menu > Transform commands, it no longer snaps to a position slightly off from the snap destination. ・The position of control points near the edge of a line drawn on a vector layer has been adjusted. When a line drawn by Snap to symmetry ruler is moved with the Object sub tool, the symmetrical lines now align correctly. ・When the opacity of a 3D layer is lowered, the All sides view palette no longer reflects the opacity of the 3D layer. ・Other issues have also been fixed.

・When creating a closed area by dragging with a sub-tool with the Mode set to Lasso, such as Lasso or Lasso Fill, there is no longer a delay in response or misalignment when the operation starts. ・Layer masks can now be edited with drawing tools such as the Pen tool even when a 3D layer mask is selected. ・When you use Edit menu > Transform, the reference point will move when you hold the Alt key and tap on the canvas. ・When you use Edit menu > Transform > Rotate or change the Transformation Mode to Rotate when rotating an image material with the Object tool, you can now drag the reference point as intended. ・The palette is now grayed out and not displayed even if Preview is turned on in the Color Settings dialog box. ・When you use the Filter > Blur > Lens Blur, the effect will be applied properly even on areas where nothing is drawn. ・On iPadOS 18 or iOS 18 and later, the screen to select and save files from the File menu > Open/Save commands will appear correctly. ・Other issues have also been fixed.

- The manga perspective settings for 3D characters can now be saved in Clip Studio format (.clip) files.

- Puppet warp has been added to the Edit menu > Transform. Puppet warp creates a mesh on your illustration and allows you to modify the pose and more by setting pins on the mesh. - You can now draw on 3D primitives and 3D drawing figures with drawing tools like the Pen tool. - It is now possible to use certain external service accounts to log into Clip Studio. - Lens Blur has been added to the Filter menu > Blur. Create a natural camera blur effect with this filter. - Crystallize has been added to the Filter menu > Effect. Use it to achieve a complex crystal effect. - You can register 3D characters on a 3D layer as 3D character materials. Share your original 3D character with the world on Clip Studio Assets. - You can now change the type of Ambient light when selecting a 3D layer. You can select from Single-color light, File, Material, or Panorama. - When changing colors in the Color settings dialog, some functions now preview the result of the change on the canvas. - You can now import video files (Extension: .mp4, .mov) from File > Create new from photo library. Importing a file will create a new project with a timeline.

- The issue where a file cannot be saved after changing a single page project to multiple page project after executing Add Page or Duplicate Page has been fixed.

- The message that appears when importing an image in Studio Mode to confirm whether or not to extract lines now has three options: “Skip”, “Skip (Do not show again)”, or “Extract lines”. If you select “Skip (Do not show again)”, the message will not be shown from the next time onward. - Auto actions including Color Filter and Filter Gallery operations will now work correctly in OSes in a different language from the one in which they were recorded. - When a movie file is imported from File menu > Import > From Photo Library, the audio layer is now created with the same name as the movie layer. - When a 3D layer is selected, the camera will now rotate in 90° increments when you turn on "Adjust camera with touch gestures" in the Sub Tool Detail palette.

・New tutorial and hint feature added on Simple Mode. Hints for how to use the tools will now appear. ・Ask chatbot has been added to the Studio Mode Help menu and the Simple Mode Preferences and Help dialog. Ask the chatbot for help on how to use tools. ・Quick Filters and Quick Effects have been added to the Studio Mode Filter Menu. Easily and intuitively color correct and apply effects to your pieces while previewing the changes. ・A command bar has been added to the Image list in the Sub View palette, making it possible to add and delete images. Checkboxes are next to every image to select multiple images at once. ・It’s now possible to reorder images in the Sub View palette Image list by dragging and dropping. ・You can now import video files (.mp4 or QuickTime .mov) from File Menu > Import > From photo library. ・ You can now control character facial expressions when using VRM Format 3D Files from the Sub Tool Detail Palette > Character Category > Use expression shape keys.

・The screen that displays upon start up that describes the trial version and annual/monthly plans has been updated.

・The initial settings for Rendering intent and Library to use in the Color profile preview dialog box are now the same as in versions earlier than Ver. 3.0.6. In addition, changes to these settings are now properly reflected. ・If you have not launched Clip Studio and are not logged in, you will not receive a 2-step verification notification email even if you have it enabled for your Clip Studio account.

・Fixed a bug where the 3D Preview for Binding was not appearing properly.

・When running an Auto Action that includes Convert to lines and tones from the Auto Action palette, the values registered in the Auto Action are now correctly reflected in the Convert to lines and tones dialog box. ・The current brush shape is now shown as selected in the "Select brush shape" screen from the Tool Property palette or Sub Tool Detail palette of the brush tool. ・In certain environments, running an Auto Action that includes Convert to lines and tones from the Auto Action palette now works correctly. ・When a 3D object material is placed in a 3D layer in the Frame border folder, the camera angle now matches the Frame border ratio. ・Some 3D VRM format files can now be read as 3D characters instead of 3D object materials. ・The Import file dialog box is now displayed even when a BVH format file with a short file name is imported. ・Improved the position estimating process for 3D drawing figures when a BVH format file with a distance unit other than cm is imported and the Lock position option in the Pose sequence category of the Sub Tool Detail palette is turned off. ・Changes to the Noise pattern settings in Watermark settings dialog box are now reflected in the Export timelapse dialog box when Export timelapse is performed. ・Switching to another canvas while selecting a 3D layer will no longer slow down operations such as drawing on another canvas.

・The Convert to lines and tones dialog box now displays correctly when a 3D layer is selected and Convert layer to lines and tones is performed after the Brush shape has been changed using a tool such as the Focus lines group. ・The Convert to lines and tones dialog box now displays the brush type correctly when a 3D layer is selected and Convert layer to lines and tones is performed after the Brush shape has been changed in the Balloon group or Frame border group. ・Convert to lines and tones now performs correctly on 3D layers even when the Layer palette is not displayed. ・Convert to lines and tones now performs correctly on polygon and plane 3D primitives. ・The website that gets loaded when tapping on “Why am I seeing this message?” from the “Could not open File Name normally.” error message when a file cannot be loaded correctly is now displayed in the appropriate language.

・Color filter and Effect tools have been added to Simple Mode. ・Now supports Apple Pencil Pro Squeeze. Switch the squeezing operation of the Apple Pencil Pro in Clip Studio Paint depending on the OS settings. ・You can now select between "Prioritize quality" or "Prioritize file size" when recording a timelapse. Selecting "Prioritize file size" will reduce the image quality, but the file size will be smaller. ・Added a Tool Slider palette for desktop and tablet version. Adjust the brush size and opacity with the same interface as Studio Mode on smartphone. ・Noise pattern added to Watermark settings to help protect the work you share online. When using [Export (Single Layer)] or [Export timelapse], you can use this function by turning on [Noise pattern]. ・You can now import BVH files to pose 3D drawing figures and characters. You can also register BVH files as a sequential pose material. ・The interface of “Convert to lines and tones" has been reorganized to make it more intuitive. ・You can now color code layers and cels with palette colors in the Timeline palette. ・You can now set two-step verification when logging in to your Clip Studio account.

・Fixed an issue in which Clip Studio Paint would not function when drawing on a canvas with the pen while Touch Accommodations and Hold Duration were enabled on iPad OS 17 or later.
