The entire app has been redesigned and rewritten from the ground up to be more readable and intuitive. Some key changes include:
• Route switching and favourites have been moved to the schedules tab.
• Trip previews on the schedules tab display new status indicators for departed and future trains and their departing platform, if available.
• Tapping a trip in your schedule now opens a full-screen trip details view, which includes some new information:
• Number of minutes until departure.
• Number of cars on the train.
• Whether the train is currently in motion or not.
• Every stop that the train makes, including stops that are outside of your route, and their times.
• A mini-map of your route.
• A new button allows you to quickly jump to the next trip in your schedule.
• The map tab now maps every station to its corresponding line, allowing you to view the entire train network at a glance.
This is a big change to GoTrack, but it's only the beginning. The new UI gives us space to add many new features which are planned for the following months, so stay tuned.
