The Bob Rogers Travel "Moments that Matter" app is available to use on most of our tours. It is designed to allow you to privately upload and share your travel photos with your fellow travelers, as well as family and school staff at home. Very private - no emails or phone numbers are needed. After the trip, a cool keepsake video made from your shared photos will be created of your trip for a lifetime. You will be able to watch it on your device or computer. Share photos to Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram instantly with the app. The app also useful travel tools like geo-tracking travelers, private messaging from the teacher to individual students or entire group. Shared documents like your itinerary, quizzes, assignments, or sites to research online can be uploaded by the group leader to have at everyone's fingertips who use this free app. This app and video service was created for Bob Rogers Travel by Group Travel Videos, and is included in most of their travel packages. Your group will be provided with a username and password unique to your group. Teachers have their own special 'photo admin' codes giving them special privileges like deleting photos and messaging. A fine app for traveling with a group of a lot of people but sends way too many notifications and it’s annoying and I can’t turn them off or I’ll miss something important. Overall decent.

Not great, very buggy

Our school has used this app for 2 of my daughter’s school trips. This review can only speak of the parent side of the app, which allows viewing photos and pdfs added by others. While there are parts that are useful, such as the ability to view the itinerary, the app is very buggy and not the best quality. The photos that get uploaded cannot be tapped to view larger and are only maybe 1/4 of your phone screen at the largest. The quality of these photos are also degraded from the original, as I can see pics my daughter sent me directly and the ones she uploaded to the app and the quality is much poorer in the app. The app also has issues even staying open, which is frustrating. I’m trying to look at photos and it kicks me out of the app. I try to move from photos to itinerary or vice versa and I get kicked out. Reopening the app usually works, but it’s quite annoying as I have to re-find the place I was looking at. I checked to see if there was an update, but there was not. As much as we pay for Bob Rogers services, you’d think the simple app would work as expected.

BRT organized a trip of over 100 high school students from upstate NY to Universal Studios in FL. Motorcoach buses were to transport students, luggage and band equipment from the airport in NJ back to school in NY. The coaches never arrived, and students needed to squeeze into 2 school buses with bags/equipment on their lap and all remaining luggage filling the aisles. WILDLY UNACCEPTABLE. Additionally, As a family member at home this app serves no purpose other than a photo sharing repository, and even then it has limited relevance when 100s of people are traveling on the same trip and you don’t need to see their selfies. It provides no security or communication / messaging options as portrayed.

This app is so frustrating. I can’t even scroll through the uploaded photos without delay after delay; heaven forbid I accidentally click on one and get sidetracked into some other folder. Or the scroll inexplicably starts again at the top. Downloading a photo takes forever and they are terrible quality. There should be a way to block duplicate photos. Or tag people for search ability.I see no benefits to using this app instead of a shared Google file. So frustrating!
