The app works well with Apple Watch and Fitbit, but trackers are not required – you can use your iPhone to track steps and distance (iPhone 5S or later required). To track steps using iPhone or Apple Watch, Health app from Apple is required. Tracking is automatic - no need to keep the app open while you’re walking or running. Weight needs to be self-reported for tracking.

Subscription Details
The app and the advertised features like steps tracking, creation of teams, weekly team leaderboard for distance, two-team steps challenges etc. are free to use. There are certain features (weekly and monthly distance history, multi-team challenges, weight tracking, weight loss challenges etc.) in the app that are available through a premium subscription that renews every month. If you choose to purchase the premium subscription ($2.99 per month), it will be charged to your iTunes account. The subscription will automatically renew within 24 hours before each subscription period ends. Your premium subscription can be managed (including cancellation) in iTunes > Account Settings at any time after the purchase.
