See your current altitude instantly on iPhone and Apple Watch with Live Activity, peak, and gain always in view.
Track your current altitude and elevation gain at a glance, whether you’re hiking, climbing, mountain biking, or driving mountain roads.
Altimeter – Elevation Widget & Watch Complication gives you a precise altimeter for your Apple Watch and iPhone. Keep your current altitude visible on your watch face, home screen, and Live Activity. When you’re heading to the trailhead or driving through a mountain pass, the same Live Activity can stay visible in CarPlay with your current elevation, peak, and gain. Try Siri with: “Siri, start Live Activity in Altimeter.” You can also ask: “Siri, what is my current altitude in Altimeter?”

Hands-down the best altimeter app out there. I tried so many and only this one allows to show real time altitude on the widget page. On the history page, if we click the green dot, it should direct us to the associated altitude and its data. That’s the only suggestion. Thank you!
A complication capability

Just what I was looking for! I’m using this altitude app as a complication on my watch! Only one minor issue, the normal display before I push the complication is expressed in meters, in spite of the fact that I have selected feet. Not sure how to make it show in feet!

Great app! But I do have a suggestion… instead of fancy graphs showing in the middle complication on the watch can we have ONE LARGE number that will represent the elevation??
Developer Response
First of all, thank you for your reviews and the great rating. This helps a lot! Thanks for the hint. I just checked the settings for units in the widget and fixed it.

I’ve tried several altimeter apps and widgets. This is the only one that works. Great app, great interface, great widget, and great support.
• Added full French localization for the app interface, Siri shortcuts, permission dialogs, and App Store metadata.
• Siri altitude responses and Live Activity shortcuts are now localized in French.
• Updated the French App Store copy for Live Activity and altitude requests.
• Added App Intents support for altitude readings, including showing, saving, and opening recent altitude values.
• Altimeter is now ready for today’s Shortcuts and Spotlight features, and prepared for the new Siri experience coming this fall.
