There are seemingly endless options for investing, and I’ve tried many platforms. Titan combines daily education with unique strategies, some that you can’t get through traditional brokerages. They are democratizing investing by allowing smaller investment amounts into cutting edge products that typically require large sums of money for investors to access. I was really happy with how they sold off some of the shares in their managed strategies before those stocks hit lows and also hedged the portfolios to actually create some gains in the portfolio while the market was going through the most recent downturn. These are things I wish I had done with my personally managed account. I’m really happy with how the company has evolved as they continue to add new products to the network. The app is fairly simple to use and they suggest asset allocation when you decide to add money. If you’re like me, you will want to keep adding and watch it grow.

Even though it aims to appear as an upper scale, investment platform, the lack of transparency is stunning and manipulative. There is literally nowhere on the app to be found that insufficient funds transactions are charged $30 for each transaction that failed due to insufficient funds, regardless, if someone invested if someone invested $5, 25, 50,- or any dollar amount. If there is not enough cash in your bank account, they will charge $30 for any failed transaction. What is particularly annoying is that nowhere on the app, in all the charges, failed or successful transactions, will there be any mention of the $30 fee, even if it is imposed and taken by the platform. There is no notice about the fee and you will not see that they charged you a $30 fee. The only way that you will be able to see that you’re charged an insufficient funds fee is through your email. On the other hand, they have sections on how they are the best high-yield portfolio for cash, how they have the lowest fees, how the new subscription that will cost $250 for a year is basically paying itself off through their tax solution, and you will see particular fees of 0.5, 0.95, or all other lowest amounts of fees for different types of investments; however, you will not know where to find information about insufficient funds fees. I just found out about this tonight and I can’t wait to call them tomorrow morning.

I have been using the app for about 3 months, all good. But suddenly after 3 months they realize that they need to verify identity, and they lock your account without giving any prior notification. You don’t actually come to know that the account is locked until you try to login, and suddenly you receive and email that it is a routine check up. Well they keep deleting the reviews every after I post it. Customer Service: they are okish. They reply once every 24 hour. They mostly reply what they want to irrespective of what we ask. And another thing, suppose you ask 2 questions, they will reply to one question in first 24 hours and may reply to next question next day. It has been 36 hours and yet they haven’t responded yet. So in all, I would say just put a little in your portfolio in Titan and invest the rest somewhere else. It will be frustrating to keep waiting for the response from the customer service and their custodian partner!! Mine review is still in progress, 48 hrs and counting!! AVOID TITAN!! One more point, even if you sell your entire portfolio and they are not happy they will cancel the process 2 days later and give out some Wierd reasons which makes no sense. My account is still in verification process 168 hrs have passed and still no update!! Customer service doesn’t even respond anymore! Best advice is stay away from Titan

This application actually it was built very well. However, it’s clear that the investment team struggles with understanding portfolio management and hedging, especially during times of volatility. Instead of providing investment protection, they send out videos explaining why their team is losing your money. Their monthly cost for service (five dollars) would make sense, if they were making more than that for you each month. Instead, they’ll charge you five dollars per month to lose your cash real time.Lastly, after keeping my funds in for about six months, while trying to withdraw my money, they stated that the remainder of my funds would be sent back but not guaranteed at the amount in the application. Instead, they refunded my money about 75% of what was invested in the application.Could go on and on about how most hedge funds struggle with even beating the S&P 500, but instead – there are other applications that do work better, and value your investment. Betterment would be one of these. After investing in both titan and betterment at the same time, with the same amount of money, Betterment actually performs better than Titan. And they don’t charge you for losing your money! much better deal. Thanks for nothing!!
