American Speedway Manager is a racing strategy game. Manage your team, upgrade and configure your car to adapt to each race.
Compete in a championship of 16 stages and oval circuits of the nascar style, in cities of the United States.
California, Tennessee, Darlington, Florida, Dover, Madison, Carolina, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Virginia, Michigan, Ohio, Texas, Arizona.
TOTAL CAR CONFIGURATION
Full configuration of car settings. Engine power adjustments, transmission adjustments, aerodynamics, and suspension adjustments.
These adjustments affect the behavior of the vehicle. Both in acceleration at top speed and in tire wear.
Try all kinds of settings to find the most suitable for each race.
IMPROVEMENTS
Upgrades increase the performance of the car.
It is necessary to make all these improvements since the other cars will also improve in each race.
DRAG
Get behind a faster car and take advantage of the DRAG to gain speed.
Approaching a car from behind creates an air bubble that drags you and equalizes the speeds of both vehicles.
CHANGING WEATHER
Changing weather during races. You can start the race in sunny weather and switch to rain. You will have to adapt and select the right tire for each circumstance.
TIRE SELECTION
The choice of tire is very important for the performance of the car.
A soft tire is faster than a harder tire but has more wear.
The selected drive and car settings change the tire degradation time.
DRIVERS
The drivers improve the car's performance thanks to their skills.
It is important to improve these skills with the experience gained in racing.
MAINTENANCE
During races the car suffers degradation of some of its components such as the engine, transmission etc.
It is very important to carry out maintenance to start each race with the car in optimum condition.
TEAM
Develop and upgrade your team to increase performance during races. A very important factor is the training of the mechanics to decrease the time of the pit stops.
I love this game, it’s really fun to drive around and battle other cars for victory. One problem though it gets to easy when you get the lead. You can just stay at there bottom and the AI can’t really pass you unless they are much faster than you. It would be cool to see different lanes be more competitive at different tracks like at one track the outside is the fastest lane or the fastest lane changes throughout the race. Another thing I would like to see is road courses. Road courses in this game would be so fun and would give the players and extra challenge to pick the right lane at every turn. One final thing is with the AI. There is always one dominant car at every track and they always start in first. A different starting order for each race would make it more interesting for cars to make it towards the front and another thing, the AI should be able to change lanes even if they are not behind another car which would make the racing more fun if the AI had more strategy and it would also improve lap traffic to where we have to maneuver around cars instead of them just being in the outside lane and never coming down. Overall it’s a great game and I recommend buying it.
Pretty good

Overall the game is good and fun to play. Not impossible to win and upgrade your car. Graphics and sound are good as well. Issues: draft, tires and AI. The dynamics of the draft are wrong. Usually when it comes to draft around the AI. Stock cars do not have options on tires except for rain tires on road courses. No super softs, no intermediates etc. AI is mostly impassable even with your car having SS and the AI on H tires. You should have 10-15 mph advantage onSS compared to H. You get additional power by drafting, but with the additional power you cannot pass AI. The AI always starts first and most of the time you start 12th. You are generally behind AI many seconds by lap 2 and impossible to catch it. It is good, but needs a few adjustments to be great.
Great Game, but poorly executed

First of all I’m a big fan of these types of games and needed something new after beating Motorsport Manager. This game stood out to me because it was different enough but still had the same core gameplay. However. There are several issues that keep me from enjoying the game as much as I could. First of all, the AI strategy even on the hardest difficulty seems to make no sense sometimes. Why will the AI pit with 2-3 laps to go and put on new hard tires? Secondly with drafting, the AI seem to hate it. For fun sometimes I’ll try to boost some of the AI who I’m lapping and give them a boost. They seem to think its a bad thing I just gave them an extra 20mph and will move out of the way. 2nd issue I have is with the sponsor system. If I’m winning race after race and meeting sponsorship targets, shouldn’t that “attract” more sponsors? I’ve also noticed that sometimes I still get sponsor payments when I have 0/6 sponsors. Final big issue I have is with starting the race. First of all please add a back button with every screen before starting a race. Sometimes I forget to switch my tires to my preferred compound and have to restart the app in order to change it. 2ndly with that, why is the starting order seemingly random? Leading the championship and having won every race the previous year I’m starting in the 2nd or 3rd row which has occasionally messed up my strategy. At least alert the player to their starting row/position before the race so they can plan accordingly. Other than that, I enjoy the 3 lane idea with racing and the various tunes you can do to the car (even though SS tires and all 3s seems to be the easiest way to win)
3 easy things would make this game actually a 5 star

To be clear I think in its current state this game is 3 stars, but because this game may still have developers working in it I’m giving 5 to boost the ratings. For those thinking about trying it out please do because it is very fun.The first issue with the game is exiting the pit lane. At least 1-2 times a race I’m stuck in a position where I can’t avoid either hitting or getting hit at the pit exit. A simple brakes button would suffice or no collision for 10 seconds on exiting pit.The second and third is a general lack of information and development. I should be able to see the stats the different ai cars have either before the race, after the race or in the season ranking section of the game. Currently there is no way to actually tell a difference in the upgrades and why you are winning or losing. To the devs or dev. I do freelance working on games in my spare time and I’m guessing the constant exiting pit collisions stems from a lack of non-developer testing. There’s little I can say about the lack of information given to players other than the game is great I’d just love more quality of life improvements. With a little better graphics, better ui during races and play testing this game could go a long way.
Internal improvements and optimizations.
