I’ve been using Qeepsake for 8 years when I was pregnant with my son. We’ve been printing a Qeepsake book of memories each year and filling our bookshelves with beautiful photos and moments in time. I love the editing features and making the book my own. I now use it for my daughter as well. It’s easy to toggle between journals and add to both journals at the same time when doing a post about them both. I do miss being able to have them upload automatically from social media posts, hopefully that comes back! I love Qeepsake and they’ve been always so helpful and have the best quality books. If it weren’t for Qeepsake I know I wouldn’t have journaled these past years, the face that it texts me daily it reminds me to record the little moments with promoted questions. That’s why I keep up my membership every year, it is helping me create a journal of both my children’s lives!

So thankful something like this exists. It makes it so easy to answer questions by sending you the texts, and add photos and other entries just by just opening up the app. And I like how you can add a photo collage with four photos, because I usually have trouble picking just one! It is definitely worth upgrading to the paid version to be able to do this. I also like how I can add my own entries about whatever else is going on or whatever else I want to put in there. The first printed book was disappointing quality but I didn’t care that much because the memories are what I wanted and ease of getting it done (so easy!!). The second book I did less collage pics (because they’re too small) and more singular pics and kept them bright, so the quality seemed better this go round. Their customer service is great! Every time had a problem they’re quick to fix. I love this app. Books can be pricey but they have sales so I take advantage of those. Because of the low quality of the pics (especially the collage pics, pretty bad.. solo pics are better), I am considering trying Shutterfly books.. but til then, I’m going to stick with Qeepsake because me and my kids love having these memory books!

This app was great for the first part of using it. Then they got money hungry I guess and deactivated my account and kept all of my journal entries locked until I paid to buy a book of the journal entries or a membership when it originally had been free, when I finally caved and paid $30 for a book, they send me a notification that says my book is printing and will send me a notification when it ships. Even though I had been upset I was excited to get this until it was almost a month later and I never got a shipping notification, so I reached out. They said they sent me a pdf instead…. This wasn’t explicitly stated that I wouldn’t be also receiving the physical copy like they misleadingly made it sound. So for $30 I might get to see my children’s memories I logged again… and the pdf also says it is “non-printable”. This company took my journal entries hostage and scammed me into paying a ransom for something I never received. I do not recommend, go look for another app or buy a physical journal. These are dirty liars and scammers. 👎🏼To the response- yeah, you didn’t answer for keeping the memories “hostage”. You locked the journal entries until you could force payment to get them back. DIRTY. It’s not like you locked the account just for further use or anything- you kept the journal entries hidden until paid. Not a family focused app, just money focused. No warning before either.

**edited in response to developers answer- I have reached out at least 2-3 times in the past regarding the crashing and glitching issue. I was just told to uninstall and reinstall which may slightly improve the app’s functionality for a few days but then it’s just as bad as before again**I LOVE the concept of the app and I love that it gives me something tangible to do with all the great photos of my sweeties. However, about every two months the app crashes on my phone and I have to uninstall and reinstall it. Also, if I spend more than 15-20 minutes in the app it glitches and stops working so I have to come back and try again when I can find another free moment. Also, I tried to use it on a computer thinking it might be easier/faster/less glitching but it is not easy to navigate and it’s very laborious. Lastly, to actually purchase the books, it’s crazy expensive- I paid around $300 for the hardback one and around $200 for the paperback one and that was with coupon codes and birthday month discounts. With all of that said, I will continue to use it for now but perhaps not as long term as I had hoped to unless some bugs are fixed.
