I used to be as able to sign in. 2FA was not an issue. But now I am forced to use a Singapore mobile phone number for 2FA. Since I am overseas on a long term basis, I do not have a Singapore mobile number. I can’t use the app anymore.2FA is very common. Face ID, and fingerprint as the second factor authentication works fine on other apps. Why can’t the Singpass app work with biometric auth?

A working mobile number is required to set up the singpass app for local residents. If you are a foreign user, you may apply for singpass foreign user account (SFA) : https://www.iras.gov.sg/digital-services/others/singpass-foreign-user-account-(sfa)-for-foreign-individuals SFA will not need a mobile number to set up app. You may contact us at https://go.gov.sg/singpass-feedback-issue

It’s easy for some who has a hard time just have to let them know about using the overseas number. I had to iodate with ICA and CPF before I left Singapore and they will guide you. The best for some that can’t log on I suggest to call them directly. I did even if I had to pay international call. Use a cheapest call.

I could not access Cdp portal for updating my

My address though I can access others like Hdb Cpf irs through Singpass app. It always cut off on Sgx website. It is taking too much of my time trying numerous times and hours. Not competitive. Hope it will improve soon.

I cannot log in from overseas

SingPass doesn’t allow me to use an overseas number to register. I have to retain my Singapore number for this purpose. When I try to use my SingPass to log in, the OTP is not sent in a timely fashion. It expires within 2 minutes and I don’t receive it until 10 min later.I cannot log in using the SingPass app. though it can recognize my facial features and identify me.I am at my wits end as I wish to update my current address.Please advise what I can do to make the change online possible. Thank you.
