I had my 12 yr old girls at Rockdale Gymnastics for a year and the only thing they could do was a round off. After three sessions with BeastMode Athletics, one of my girls did her first unassisted backhand spring. And my other daughter is right behind her. The coaches at BeastMode accessed the girls and their skill levels and gave them the proper attention they were in need of. I would recommend EVERYONE bring their young athletes to BeastMode Athletics. They run a program that is enriching and results driven!

Terrible user experience, can’t print financials

We used GoMotion as our payment system for my child’s competition cheer organization. When it became apparent that the director was grossly mismanaging money and the gym was shut down overnight, many parents tried to delete their payment information to stop further charges. The “delete” button had disappeared from our parent interface. The only option was to call or email GoMotion. Several parents called and never spoke to a person. Messages were left and never responded to. I wrote an email and never got an answer or even an auto-reply. A few days later I got an email from the cheer director herself, who deleted my cards per my request. It was clear that GoMotion just forwarded everything to our director, who I clearly explained should no longer have access to my payment information. In addition, as we are trying to dispute charges for goods and services not received for the cheer season, it became apparent that there is no option in GoMotion for a parent to print their financial statement. This is mind-boggling. I now have to deal with a series of screen shots pasted into a document to show my bank receipts.

Here we go again! I’m still getting invoices from them even though they told me that they would take care of it. Now my contact’s email address at GoMotion doesn’t work anymore. I’m hoping this review will get them to talk to me again and they fix the problem! The problem with this company is their internal communication. It is horrible!——Below is my original review. They contacted me right away. We talked at length and it’s obvious that I felt through the cracks. What impressed me is that they took complete responsibility and they were open to hear what I had to say. Yes, all companies supposed to do that but it doesn’t really happen like this. We straighten everything out and it is fixed. They are putting better measures in place so this doesn’t happen to anyone else. GoMotion is a great tool and they keep making updates to it. ——GoMotion was recommended to me a few months ago. Talked to their sales staff and told them about very specific things that were holding me back from signing up. They assured me that they wouldn’t be a problem. I paid the sign up fee and spent several days setting it up. They assign you someone to help you with the set up. Unfortunately, that person never replies to your messages unless you make an actual appointment with them. And once you get an appointment with them, they are late and sometimes rushing through the call. I came to find out that the stuff the sales team promised is not true. Their communication with the costumer and between them is horrible. I sent them both team members an email with my concerns and that I was cancelling my account. Didn’t hear anything from them. I had to call the sales team until they answered and told them to please cancel. They apologized and they said that they would take care of it. Today, I receive and invoice for $150 saying that it is past due 55 days. Before you sign up with them, make sure everything is clear and make sure you can get out of it and get your money back if something doesn’t work like they promised.

It’s clear that this app was pushed out without enough time or funding to make it a good app. First and foremost, switching back and forth from this app to another one and back—like you might when adding an event to your calendar—causes the app to reload, meaning you have to go through all the same menus and such every time. Really annoying! Second, when the team sends a notification through the app, you can’t see the whole notification without opening the app, and the messages quickly time out and disappear before you have time to read them.This app seems built to be paired with Team Unify, a.k.a. GoMotion, a.k.a. SportsEngine, and it’s just as user-unfriendly as those websites. The whole ecosystem needs a fresh approach with a stronger focus on UX and ease-of-use, not just endless rebranding.
