I downloaded this app somewhat suspicious (because getting money from an app just seems too good), but I am so absolutely floored by how much I love it. I’m not a med student, but I have a big interest in learning new things and boy oh boy does this app satisfy that. It’s a lot like a video game in the way it’s formatted, but I feel so much better spending my time on here than, say, wordscapes because I feel like I’m actually stimulating my brain. I love the simplicity of the app, it’s incredibly easy to use and VERY addictive. Before writing my review, I waited until I won a competition and received the money from it, but I am so so happy that this app checks out and isn’t a scam. My only small complaint would be that sometimes the photos or scans I was shown in the competitions were inaccurately labeled, which can be really frustrating in a competitive setting. However, it’s totally understandable as a new app with a small, hardworking team. Overall I am very very very satisfied with the app and I highly recommend trying it out if you have an interest in the medical sciences.

As a nursing student Im a bit obsessed with learning as much as possible, so this app is perfect for me. Tons of categories to review. Plus there's cash contests for placing in the top 10 for accuracy. It's really alot of fun. Suggestions to developers:1) When something has been flagged as incorrect you can't tell if it's incorrectly marked normally or abnormally. So it's confusing. (i hope that makes sense).2) Also, in the tutorials it would be helpful if there was a visual example of an abnormal and a normal reading/diagnosis for comparison. 3) Clearer explanations of what constitutes as abnormal. Ie: elbow and hand rads- the tutorials say that any visible hardware, bandages, casts, etc. constitute as abnormal. However, Ive had elbows scored wrong when I've marked them abnormal due to the appearance of a cast but the bones themselves are normal. According to the tutorials though, because the cast is visible it is abnormal. (I know that sounds confusing. I hope you can follow what Im saying). 4) last one, I promise... When I mark something normal, but that's not the correct answer, it would be awesome... from a learning standpoint, if the abnormality was shown. It could just be highlighted with green in the area(s) that are abnormal. Otherwise if I don't know where/what the abnormality is, it doesn't help me going forward to be able to spot abnormalities in future readings. I do absolutely love this app though. Its really a lot of fun, and I get a lot of knowledge out ‪ of it. 👍👍❤️

I love love LOVE this app. I love that I do not have to be a med student to use the app and compete. I also love that while earning I am also learning. It’s a win-win. My only complaint is the number of contribution questions as opposed to questions we are actually graded for seems to be in excess. Also, I’ve found incorrect graded cases which is extremely frustrating especially in a competition when you know the answer you gave to be correct yet you lose score because the platform (or AI maybe?) got it wrong. So sometimes you may lose a competition you should have won. Overall I have faith that the team over this project work diligently to make every competition fair and prevent mistakes. Unfortunately, we are human and perfection is not always possible. Excellent app and ty for the extra much needed $ I’ve been able to earn here.

I previously wrote a 4-star review due to some issues with the training zones for certain topics and because I felt users’ feedback on cases wasn’t being listened to. The DiagnosUs team actually made changes to the app based on my review, which is something you don’t see often. I also left feedback within the app about some inappropriate images I’d come across in one of the contests and they responded ASAP and now users are warned of this issue before starting. I do still find the responses to cases being flagged as incorrect a bit frustrating, but I understand the app is monitored by a small team and can’t get to everything right away. Also, I have made quite a decent chunk of money from this app - $200+ in the last week or so. It’s so much fun! Can’t wait to see what new contests DiagnosUs comes up with next.
