The light and controller work great, no complaints there. I downloaded the app and chose the music selection for the lights. I like how the app pulls up my playlist from my phone. The app worked good for 10 min. Then the music option for the lights stopped working and it stayed on a solid color. It would hold that color for different times lasting as long as 30 min then would flow with the music for 2-3 seconds before stopping at a solid color again. I lost all functions on the app it was as if it just stopped working. Any advice would help.

So this is my 3rd pair of lights. Not by Sunpie this would be my first. I was hesitant to use the app as I feared I would get stuck on a halo color forever or have the lights lock up etc as others reviewed. I’m not sure if I just got lucky with this app working perfectly for me or if other users just don’t understand how to work it correctly. I have had no problem with this app. It turns my halos instantly and even strobes them to my library of music from within the app. If they don’t have your color, you can take any photo and tap on an area of it to set that color. It even responds to voice for color changing. The backgrounds of the app mimic the vehicles they sell these lights for even. The lights were great but soooo much better with this app. Not sure if they fixed the app or I just set it up different then other users. Worth a shot from my experience!

I have had 4 rock lights go out in my truck and I put them on a Month ago from today, the reason this is not a 1 star review is because so far the company has been working very well and has sent me two new lights so far, I am going to ask for two more and maybe a solution to my problem. The lights that go out have been the first light in the sequence of the three per wheel well, and I have had two on the driver back, one on the passenger front and one on the passenger back. I took the lights apart tonight and noticed some corrosion on the interior of the lights. I don’t want to pay 120 bucks for rock lights and have to fight this issue all the time so if anyone has any suggestions on how to fix this that would be great! Thank you,Konner Bailie

To start off this HEADACHE, I realized the lights were not a exact fit as they claimed to be. So in order to install them I had to use sand paper to shave down the plastic tabs just so they can fit into place. The app is designed horribly. For example, if you set your led’s to green they won’t be green. They will be purple or some other color. You also have to go into the app and turn off the lights when you park your car. You would think they turn off when you turn off the vehicle. They don’t, they continue to draw power. Last but not least, more than half of the led’s stopped working not even a month after purchasing. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME
