We’ve been a member with F.M.F.C.U. for about 15 years now. Hopefully! Bank Supervision recognizes by our presents of still being apart of their financial institution. Must mean we are pleased with where we are at, and is a sign on how happy to be doing business with your staff. They are courteous, knowledgable and it is greatly appreciated of those good qualities. I’d like to pick out just one employee to say stands out the best. But can’t, we’ve been treated as equally by one as we do all working members in many of the branches, that we visited. Outside of doing business with F.M.F.C.U. it’s been a pleasure having nice conversation as well. Thank You!

i’m new with franklin mint, so i am new with the app. there are a couple things i don’t like about the app. for example, i had a sign up fee of $5 that went into a separate account and i’m not sure what that account is/is for. no big deal. the next thing i don’t really like is when i used the mobile paycheck app and deposited my check by taking a picture on friday, it wasn’t available til tuesday (monday was a holiday) i needed it when i deposited it because i had to pay some bills. another thing i don’t really like is that i get partial unemployment direct deposited into my bank now. and it just showed up one morning, i couldn’t find a way to see pending transactions coming into my account. that’s not a big deal either. last thing though, i transferred money from my unemployment debit card to my bank because for some reason, they put it on a debit card even though i signed up for DD. Anyway, when i transferred the money, it took 24 hours to go into my account. i just didn’t like that because if i was ever in a jam/emergency and needed money right away, if somebody transferred money over to me.. i’d have to wait a whole 24-48 hours to actually get it. I feel like i complained so much, i do like franklin mint and i’m happy i chose them to bank with. i’m not great with money, so now i’m really trying to start being better with my money. So, again i am happy to be with FMFCU.. those were just some things i don’t like. i do like that it shows all of your transactions, so it’s easy to keep track of your spending, and i like how i can log into the app with my face ID. the option to take a picture of your paycheck to deposit it is cool, i just wish it was like an instant thing just like if you were to go to an actual branch and cash it especially now during the whole covid thing.

So many areas for improvement. The biggest issue is scanning and depositing checks on an iPhone. It is a very frustrating and awful experience. When trying to deposit a check after scanning the app goes to a black screen and says “waiting “. I have learned that I could wait forever and the waiting never ends. So I close the app, and restart and try again. Sometimes this goes on 5+ times to just deposit a check. When I have multiple checks to deposit it can take 30-60 minutes to complete. I use 2 other banking apps that manage do accomplish depositing checks in seconds!Your app is not ready for prime time. Next, you do not provide a quick dashboard giving me visibility to all of my accounts. I have 2-business accounts, 1-personal account, loans with each business and personal. My other two bank apps allow me to quickly view on s dash board multiple business, personal and loan accounts. Again, your app is not ready for prime time. Just frustrating. When I do want to try to deposit checks, you should have a quick button. Instead I have to select “Transactions “ and then search for “Deposit “. Why waste my time. Other apps don’t. When you do show my loans, you don’t show the correct due date. Although payments may be made in August and the next due date is actually September, the app still shows “April”. C’ mon this isn’t rocket science. Seems like other bank apps are grown up and yours is still a child. It is so frustrating that I am considering moving my accounts. My guess is that no one will act on these suggestions and there will only be excuses. That’s all I have heard in the past.

Managing and organizing my accounts can be difficult and not even worth the effort. I’ll accidentally hold my thumb on my main checking account too long trying to scroll and the app will freeze, and after I have to restart it every time the main account will somehow be at the bottom of the list, when I wanted it at the top as the first one I see. It should be easier to organize and move it back to the top but most of the time it’s really not worth the annoyance. Grouping my checking and savings account into their own folders makes it easier, so that’s nice, but with almost any other financial app I have this is the least user-friendly which is why it gets 3 stars.
