Cautiously funding with two banks, my gig business debits. I can not yet get it to be a spending source on Venmo with the temporary card, maybe the metal card will work there ? I want to send our pay to my wife with Venmo for her purchase requests and I want to charge my zip pay in 4 costs to it as well as when I buy food or supplies on the road, self employed driver. Will report back if any crazy problem happens or if I am able to do all that I would want to making my funding movements easier and automatic, since ethe goal is AUTO COMPUTE, the final score I give will be a reflection of ease, what was always supposed to be the reason for an invention, to give us back time. In this case the cost of their service appears to be in the time delays waiting for your deposit to become spendable. As with secured cards I’ve used before, that is often extremely frustrating waiting for unknown time delays to gain spending power. Especially for daily paid or fixed income families.
Good, but a little woke..

I’m kinda torn honestly. I’d love to give Credit AI a 5-star review because I love the product. The metal card is actually cool, the app works great, I love the self destructing card feature and it did significantly improve my credit score which is the icing on the cake! What ruins it for me is the “News” section on the app which is so painfully and overtly bias towards the woke-left. I mean it’s really that bad! As a moderate-leaning Libertarian person, it’s hard for me to say that I support Credit AI. The app would be better off if they got rid of the News Section entirely and stuck to providing a credit card service. I honestly don’t care what people believe politically if they have a good product. I don’t know my mechanic’s political opinions and I prefer it that way. The app developers could have voted for whoever they wanted and do whatever they want with the money they make. I would be perfectly happy vouching for this app if I didn’t know the developers political opinion. But when the app itself is actively part of a campaign for something that I don’t support, I’m not going to support the app. If you do download this app, don’t take any financial or political advice from the “News” section. They actively spread misinformation about macroeconomics and biology. They also exaggerate and straw-man the viewpoints of the other side in order to sow division and outrage. If the “News” section didn’t exist this would be a 5-star review with only the first paragraph.
Lackluster customer service

The card is just a card, I guess it’s a nice card but inconvenient to use anywhere that explicitly states they only take debit cards - this card will *always* run as credit in those situations. Not being able to connect to my other newer banks, super long time getting money into the account vs. my other banks. I guess the little credit bump is cool and I do get my paycheck a day early (sometimes) but honestly, I’ve had some weird stuff happen. They sent me a new card and disabled my current one before I had access to the new one, without telling me, while I was traveling. They told me to setup and use a stealth card, which is cool, but was really inconvenient to read off to people on my trip. I would have preferred for the old card to stay active until I activate the new one, I don’t really understand the precaution there. They apparently add additional fees to some purchases (like they add tip allowances to DoorDash purchases but don’t tell you anywhere that they do that?!) I haven’t had money go missing (yet) but the other reviews saying that they were locked out for no reason or had money literally disappear out of their accounts make me want to close this account and run for the hills. I did it for defranco and for my credit score but it’s been kinda of a meh experience.
Good For Credit Bad For Everything Else
Eeyore the Banker
From experience I have learned that this can’t be your primary bank account. If you deposit money into this bank, don’t deposit money you count on because when you need it, the only way to access it is $625 worth of atm withdrawals until you have it back. They say this is a checking account but you cannot have checks. You cannot get cashiers checks by email you can print at home with Magnetic ink, you debit card registers as a credit card so no money orders or bank checks can be purchased, and the one girl that works at customer service answering the phone every day is to say the least a parrot that repeats what the app says in the help section of the app and if it’s not answered just flat out says no. UYou will however get 1500 worth of credit on your report, but you can’t use it so you will need to open another credit card which will equate to 750 in available credit you can open a new card with. They deposit very early but it’s just adjusting your pay schedule and it’s a one time convenience to have because your still going to be without money the same time you usually are if not earlier relying on early deposits as a perk to bank here. Stealth card is cool but sudo app has them for .98 cents up to 10 cards so again these are cool tricks but what are your banking options? I’m writing this review because I am now in a bind trying to get an apartment I need a bank check or money order to get the keys and I have all the money and nowhere to access it. It’s one of the most frustrating moments I’ve lived this year. I would not want to let others run into the same problem and I don’t find it fair being in this situation being told closing the account is the only way they’ll give me a check annoyed for inquiring for regular banking services a local bank would have.
