Heart Rate Monitor: Your Personal Health Companion
Track your heart rate, heart rate variability (HRV), daily steps, blood oxygen records, and blood pressure readings in one convenient app. With support for both iPhone and Apple Watch, Heart Rate Monitor helps you explore your health and wellness trends throughout the day.
KEY FEATURES
Heart Rate & HRV Monitoring
Use your iPhone's camera to measure heart rate and explore available HRV data. View estimates related to stress, energy, and readiness, with personalized insights as the app gathers more information. These estimates are for general wellness, not diagnosis.
Apple Watch + iPhone Companion Experience
Enjoy guided breathing on Apple Watch while viewing your heart rate on your wrist and your connected iPhone.
• Choose Boost Energy, Calm Breathing, or Box Breathing on your Watch.
• See your heart rate and session countdown during the exercise.
• Prefer a camera measurement? Switch to Use iPhone Camera on the iPhone.
Note: The Apple Watch breathing feature requires a compatible, paired Apple Watch with the companion app installed and the necessary Health permissions. Watch sessions provide heart rate only—not HRV, stress, readiness, or energy measurements. Watch readings are displayed without being added to app history, and these breathing sessions do not save a workout.
Additional Tracking Tools
• Step Counting: Track daily activity with hourly, daily, weekly, and monthly views of your step-count progress.
• Blood Oxygen Recording: Keep your blood oxygen readings organized alongside your other health information. (Blood oxygen recording is separate from the Apple Watch breathing feature.)
• Blood Pressure Logging: Log and organize your blood pressure readings for convenient review.
• Guided Breathing Exercises: Take a mindful break with guided breathing exercises on iPhone, or follow a guided session on Apple Watch.
• Fitness & Wellness Insights: Explore available heart-rate trends and fitness-related information to support your general wellness routine.
• Heart Rate Zones: Review heart-rate zones to help understand exercise intensity during your fitness activities.
USER-FRIENDLY TRACKING
Keep your readings organized with categories for resting, exercising, and post-exercise heart rates. Review your records and follow changes over time.
HEALTH APP INTEGRATION
Heart Rate Monitor integrates with Apple Health for supported heart-rate, blood oxygen, and step-count data, subject to your permissions. Availability depends on your device, data source, and enabled features.
(Apple Watch breathing-session readings follow the display-only behavior described above.)

Every single heart rate app I have downloaded because I thought something is seriously wrong with my heart rate around 130. I try to relax and try again and I either have to pay for a subscription or something just to see if I was dying or not this is the first one that hasn’t tried that with me yet it hood to know some peoples health is there priority instead taking a dying persons money I have only used it twice so far and if tries the same thing I will redo this review thank you it’s finally under 100 bpm probably cause I’m not stressed out weather I want to spend 7 dollars a week on a inferior app compared to this one thank you
Highly Accurate

I use this one and another to compare results and it’s always the same as the other one. It’s great as a free app, and I want to pay for it, but the weekly charge is over the top expensive and I don’t think many people can afford it. Even a monthly subscription at that rate seems high. I don’t understand the science or what amount of dev goes into it, but I can’t imagine it being anything more than price gouging simply because it’s “medical.” Not all of us live in America where medical is big business. Again, the app is fantastic, I just wish I could justify the cost when there are so many options out there.
Love it!

I’m so pleased with this app so far because it is simple to use, very accurate in taking heart rates and keeps a log of previous entries. I am using it to keep a record to show the cardiologist at my next appointment. It would be awesome if in the future as technology improves, it could also perform an EKG, but maybe that would require a separate device to connect to the phone.
Developer Response
Thanks lot for using our heart rate monitor app and your valuable comment.
Good way to heart health
Returning Sheep
This is a good app for those of us who regularly keep up with our heart rate. I use the adage ‘What gets measured, gets managed.’ Therefore, when you regularly check your pulse through out the day, you begin to manage it. You know that you need to exercise it just as you do the rest of the body. The only downside that I see in this app, is that when I want to do a check either during or just after a brisk walk, I have to wait for a minute or two for ads. While this is happening, I am losing vital info as my heart rate is slowing without being measured thus skewing my actual results.
1. Customize for iphone DUO
2. Support Apple watch - breathing exercise with heart rate measurement.
