I had some initial difficulties the first time I wanted to use my In&Motion airbag. Turns out the application server was down due to some unusual event. I called and they texted me back. After that I had some of the usual “stupid user error” questions that I wasn’t able to resolve on my own. I sent photos, and received photos and explanations back. Everything solved on the first inquiry, works great. Thankfully I can’t tell you how it performs when deployed, as I have not had a wreck, but I am perfectly happy so far.

Expensive but what the heck!

As if the vest alone wasn’t expensive enough, the yearly subscription adds more dearness to the entire scheme but…I guess that’s the price of another level of protection. At least the vest and several years of coverage is about the same price as other vests which don’t require a subscription and there is the option to pause the subscription if not riding for a while. Thankfully I haven’t had to have the thing inflate and protect me and hopefully never will have to!

At least the vest and several years of coverage is about the same price as other vests which don’t require a subscription and there is the option to pause the subscription if not riding for a while. The app is pretty straight forward and it always connects easily to the vest. The vest is very nice and well constructed. It gets a bit warm in the summer but it will be a plus in cooler weather. The vest has a very important job to do, so it’s constructed to perform. My old Helite vest wasn’t so hot because it went over my jacket but it was substantially heavier than my Klim vest.

Awful app, but I like the built in vest

Like the user below. I synchronize and it stays at 1%. Then like 5 attempts later it randomly goes to green with no indication. Also, Updating to newest version fails every time. The concept is good for safety I think and I don’t mind paying the money. BUT The WiFi and connection piece is absolute trash. I have no confidence the vest will deploy as a result of the continued problems with updating over the 2-3 months I have owned this. Would not recommend this as a safety device. Find another brand. Overall I find the app clunky. It turns offMid ride, battery is still on but doesn’t show that on app. Would be helpful for it to show green vest is green.

Indeed, if the Led Inflator of the In&box is green when you insert it into your vest, you are protected to ride. You do not need the application, except if your updates are too old (several years) and the In&box flashes. Feel free to contact our customer service to resolve your WiFi issue.
