The functionality meet 90% of my needs. Simple and intuitive interface on mobile. You do not need to take the time to figure out how to use the application. Everything is very simple. Just install and verify.
No search to add places

Search functionality is only for places added manually. Adding a new place with the + button does not offer you a search field, so there is no way to add places not in your immediate vicinity. The rest of the app might be fine, but this lack of basic functionality handcuffs the app significantly. It turned me off before I even got a chance to explore further features.

Good morning George, Thanks again for your comment during December. We launched a new version integrating (HERE) and implemented the functionality you looked for. Now you have a search field to find places of your interest wherever you want and you are able to bookmark them. Integrate them in your database and find them any time on your map or within the list.... Hope you will enjoy this additional features. Thanks again for using POI MAP.
Want to love this app, but out of date

Try using this app on an iPhone 13 max and you will see how frustrating it is. The back button doesn’t work. Or if it does, it takes you to another app. The buttons are not responsive which completely kills the experience. If you don’t type a name for a point before you snap a picture, there is no way to leave the picture gallery screen!!!!
