With a 4 camera group, rotated landscape, works fine. However, if I then go to do anything else in any other app, then come back to it, only the left 2 cameras are streaming. The right 2 cameras are frozen (camera date/time never updates). Have to quit and relaunch this app, which seems to defeat the purpose of leaving one app running while checking another. And it’s not the cameras: 2x each of 2 models, top left and bottom right both same indoor, top right and bottom left both same outdoor. They work fine when first launched, but only if I never touch this app again.

BEWARE (Bait & Switch): App Will Restrict to 1 Camera Until You Pay Every Month!

I initially appreciated the app for its versatile camera and layout features. It claimed to be free for home and personal use, but this was misleading. Initially supporting up to 10 cameras, it caused dependency by allowing a broad usage. After several months, the app drastically limited me to viewing just one camera. I contacted customer support, thinking it was a glitch, only to be told I must subscribe or find another option – a clear bait-and-switch tactic.Charging for an app’s genuine worth is understandable, but imposing a recurring fee for basic, local use feels unethical. If I were paying for ongoing services, like cloud storage, a subscription might make sense. Instead, without tapping into extra resources, the app suddenly restricts accessible cameras to force payment.Additionally, updates have made the app more memory-intensive, leading to frequent crashes. This forced me to keep my main device on an older version. It’s difficult to justify recurring fees when updates only seem to add unnecessary bloat.

Beware! App author wants to be compensated. News at 11!It is a fact that a sense of entitlement is pervasive. There is no group of users so entitled as those who demand something for nothing and believe it is owed to them. There is no folly as great as trying to please everyone, particularly the free users; their appetite can never be satisfied. To all of the users who continue to financially support ongoing development that optimizes and maintains Streamie's functionality, bringing support for in-demand features, hardware and new devices, I TRULY appreciate you. For the free users who believe that my labor belongs to them: you should write your own app.Dan, you've made it clear here and elsewhere how poor you think Streamie is. It might be time to move on to other pastures.
Thank you! 10 Cameras at my Business

I’ve been using Streamie to monitor 10 cameras around my business. The set-up was streamlined and offers options that I have not found in other software. Reliability is excellent. The motion detection and display grid allows me to drill into each camera. The features have expanded with each upgrade while leaving my current set-up unchanged (unlike many updates). I have recommended Streamie to friends and even the least technical person has found the basic set-up simple to follow. Excellent support! I did reach out to the developer with a question and received an immediate response. A big thanks to this developer ... I have tried other software and this has allowed me to have a great system at a low cost.
Incredible! Better than camera manufacturer’s app!

Streamie saved us! At a business running Meraki cameras where the manufacturer provides an app for a security display so the office can keep the business secure. Unfortunately the app they provide for the Apple TV has such high latency, 10-16 seconds, that a bad actor could be inside the building before they even show up on the display. Totally useless. Enter Streamie, and all the problems are solved! Meraki cameras now support RTSP and Streamie replicated the exact same video wall to fill our security display, only now there is zero latency. In fact, Streamie is playing the video faster than what we can see in the desktop browser on the manufacturer dashboard. It’s amazing! This is seriously a fantastic app. Thank you to the developers!!!
- Updated for iOS 27 and tvOS 27.

- Devices with limited permissions now reliably show the tabs, cameras, and groups they're allowed to see.
- Fixed an Apple TV crash caused by running out of memory when video resumes after an interruption.
- Fixed crashes when playing recordings during a reconnect and when stopping several streams at once.
- Fixed crashes when a network file server disconnects, when a camera address has an invalid port, and when attached cameras change.
- Now requires iOS 15 or tvOS 15 or later.
