A pretty good app for until the FFG one comes out. It has a clean, intuitive, UI. There are a few errors I’ve noticed. Some cards are missing. For instance, Veteran Turret Gunner was not listed when I looked under the gunner slot for Norra Wexley (y-wing). Also, cards which are only available when other cards are present do not appear. When I added Darth Vader (crew) to my Imperial Squad, BT-1 and 0-0-0 would not appear. Still would recommend this app until the official app is released, and would give this app 5 stars once these bugs are squashed.

The core concept is there, and I like the collection feature, but compared to even mobile YASB, this has entirely too many issues to be worth using. Adding a pilot will occasionally fail and just do nothing, and other times it won’t allow you to select a ship. When adding a pilot it may appear invisible or become unselectable until you restart the app. Once you’re editing the loadout for a pilot, the upgrade slots will: grey out and become uninteractable, move around randomly, disappear, or just fail to work. The filters for some modifications is incorrect, Precision Ion Engines and Stealth Device shows up for every ship. Recently half of the upgrades have lost images that show the card art and full card. Points will randomly miscalculate, adding loadout values to the total point cost on XWA managed lists. There are definitely more issues, as those are just the few I managed to think of off the top of my head, but my point stands. Most of these issues require an app restart to fix and make continuous use almost impossible.

This app is the best iOS based squad builder hands down! It has a collection manager to ensure you actually have the cards that you’re building into your list. You can override that feature to see all of the cards in the game. The sorting features are fantastic. You can track each squad’s win/loss record. It will export your list in various formats. Finally, the developer is VERY responsive. There was a minor bug in the app that I reported using the “report a bug” feature and he had it fixed very quickly along with an email letting me know that it was fixed. This blows away FFG’s native app. If you play X-wing Second Edition, this is the squad builder for you!

Functional and simple. Some interactions in the app are not intuitive, but all the functionality is there.One major improvement that needs to be made is in regard to filtering. When I select more filters, I expect the results to narrow down. Instead a union on the multiple filters is performed increasing my results. That functionality is opposed to what a "filter" is supposed to do.Otherwise this is my choice X-Wing squad builder. New points dropped today, and within minutes this app was updated.
