I recently downloaded InVintory after a fellow wine friend recommended it on a trip. I haven’t tracked our wines previously, but knew I needed to do something to make sure our wines were being consumed at peak times (and making sure there weren’t any going bad). Inputting the bottles is super easy. I was able to input over 300 in about an hour (which was significantly faster than other apps that I have tried). Vincent, the ai assistant, has been very helpful- helping categorize wines by drinking time and even an order in which to drink them to make sure some of the wines with smaller drink windows don’t “expire”. I had a few issues with the app while looking at our inventory and contacted support- Parker was very friendly and responsive and was able to fix my issues right away (just needed an update). Customer service and response time was excellent- which is an important factor for me when trying to decide which app to choose. I am on the trial version currently, but based on my interaction with the team and ease of use, I am confident I will move forward with purchasing a subscription. This app is so nice and gives you thorough guides and info on the specific wine you have. I love how it shows what will pair well with your wine and - if available - further information about the region/location it is grown and produced in. You get to know about the specific wine YOU own, which makes the experience so much more unique. I just wish majority of the app wasn’t restricted behind a monthly paywall. Some features aren’t available unless you pay monthly, which sort of restricts some key features I would like to use. I understand finding the app, I just wish there was a possible other way of going about it than a monthly payment. Regardless of the restrictions, the overall free experience somewhat makes up for it. I love getting to know more about my wines and what would go well with it. Overall, very positive experience. Really good… but a little buggy

Overall, I love InVintory, and I use it constantly. It’s a great app, and they’re constantly improving it, so it does keep getting better. That said, I happen to use the Deliveries function a great deal - tracking en primeur orders, for example - and that function, in particular, is a mess (on the iPad version, it’s been “under construction” for months… and months… and months). Seeing info about what is waiting to be delivered - price paid, date purchased, etc. - is klugey and unreliable. And it’s frustrating that linking between vintage info, including reviews, and bottle info (re already-owned wines) is sometimes one-directional and therefore requires a separate search in “Search Wines.” Still, with high expectations that they will eventually get it all “finished,” I am confident that it is the best wine cellar app on the market bar none. And I do love the many improvements they keep making. BTW, a small simple additional improvement would be to add a “Format” option under Analytics, so you can look through your collection by sizes if you’re planning an occasion and thinking you want the perfect magnum or d-mag or 6L for the event.

In the meantime, you can filter your collection on bottle size to get this list or ask the AI wine assistant Vincent to list all your larger format bottles.
Best wine tracker and storage I've ever had But……

Hello,I don’t remember exactly when I first signed up, but I’m currently managing about 400 bottles across six wine fridges, and this app has become an essential part of my system. One of my favorite features is the ability to tap and visually locate a bottle—it’s incredibly helpful and saves time. The app also offers a wide range of features, and overall I find the interface intuitive and easy to navigate. I do have a few suggestions for improvement. First, there are limitations when setting up shelves with varying bottle capacities. Some of my shelves don’t hold the same number of bottles per row, which makes accurate setup in the app a bit challenging. Greater flexibility in configuring shelf layouts would make a big difference.Second, I would love to see an option to view an entire shelf when using the “locate” feature. Ideally, selecting a bottle would open a full-shelf view so you can visually scan all labels at once. If this feature exists, I haven’t been able to find it.Lastly, the drinking window feature isn’t something I rely on. I’ve opened several bottles marked as “beyond their drinking life” that were still showing excellent structure and aging potential. Because of that, I tend to trust my own judgment more than this indicator.That said, I want to emphasize that I use and genuinely enjoy this app—it’s a fantastic tool for managing a collection of this size.

Thank you - hearing that InVintory has become part of how you manage 400 bottles across six fridges genuinely made our week, and we're glad VinLocate is earning its keep.Good news on the shelf layouts: you can already do this, and the fact that you couldn't find it is on us. When you create or edit a shelf, tap the gear icon in the top-right corner and choose Remove bottle slots - then tap any slot in the 3D model to delete it. So a shelf that holds 14 across the bottom but only 7 in one row can be set up exactly that way, and it saves with your layout. There's also a "Show removed bottle slots" option so you can see the gaps you've carved out. Your feedback has us looking at how to make that far more obvious than a gear icon, because you're clearly not the only person who's missed it.On viewing a whole shelf: you're onto something we haven't finished. Backing out of the locate view does drop you into the full shelf, where you can pan around and tap any slot - but that's not the same as what you're describing, and there's nothing telling you it's there. A proper "scan this whole shelf at once" view is now on our roadmap.On drinking windows - fair criticism, and it's live work for us right now. They're a guide, never a verdict, and your own palate should always win.
