We hope you enjoy our version of character generation for 1st Edition Dungeons and Dragons. As always, if you have any issues, you can contact us through TDTokens.com. This Character Generator allows you to create 1st Edition (Advanced DnD) characters and print out the player sheet, including the back sheet. It also allows the creation of custom magic items for use in your campaign. You can level up your characters, and equip them with standard gear from the Player's Handbook or the Dungeon Masters Guide. Generate characters for yourself or characters and NPC's for your campaign. Generate the character statistics randomly according to methods outlined in the DMG or enter specific statistics from your favorite character. Possibilities abound! Enjoy your gaming!

No Multiclass options?

I have playing advanced DnD for a year and a half. I was very lucky on my rolls with my group so I could work on being a bard after I completed at least 5 levels of being a fighter… though I opted to hit level 7 and then I need to switch to thief… the app does not have a way for me to multi class… or am I missing that option? Also where is the comeliness stat… that was tragically my only 18 stat… but would love for the effect to be shown on my charisma. Also: Would love a way to send a message to the creators in the app or on the help page but didn’t see that either… so I’m posting it here. Please add multi class options. Let me keep track of my bard to be! Would be a 5 if this were remedied.

Multi-Class characters are included, but a character with two classes is not. It is an interesting idea I will look into this year. Likewise Bard needs improvement.

Very nice. I was going to enter my players’ characters for my new 1e campaign but it would not let me select cleric for a gnome character. I realize that they were only allowed as NPCs in the original Players Handbook (page 14) but no one has played it that way in forty years.

Half-Orc is available, but is limited by character stats. Maximum levels for Dexterity, Wisdom, and Charisma are limiting. There is also a minimum level of Constitution, which is also limiting. Once those are met, Half-Orc will be an option.

Half-Orc is available, but is limited by character stats. Maximum levels for Dexterity, Wisdom, and Charisma are limiting. There is also a minimum level of Constitution, which is also limiting. Once those are met, Half-Orc will be an option.

1.0 Added Custom Species capability. You may now create your own species for a character. Create a Half-Ogre Fighter or a Brownie Thief or even a Lizard Man Cleric. Set required starting attributes, attribute adjustments, Thief bonuses, and set maximum levels for your species. Once created, your Custom Species will be available for character creation.
