This app is perfect for everything I’ve been using it for! I use it to record my ukulele, record interviews, etc. Very much suggest, easy use, no interrupting ads or annoying payments. Only thing is I wish it would transcribe the audio into words…but that’s the only thing that could be added! 5/5 stars :D

Great recorder. Some recommendations, since I use this daily. 1. It should be easier to rename the files. Once, when you click on it from the main page, and then I should be able to rename again when you’re already in the file, playing the recording. Right now you can only do it from the main page. 2. You should also be able to use the same name for multiple files. Sometimes I’m working on the same thing in multiple recordings. I have to go back through my files to see what number I last used. Ex. Rock song. Then rock song 1. Rock song 2. But I could have last worked on this song a month ago. Now I have to go back through and look at what I last titled it. 3. From my phones Lock Screen, the next buttons are backwards. 4. It’s difficult to edit the recordings.

Honestly, it’s a great app. I love just about everything about it but the naming of the recorded audio. It says you can name and rename each audio recording but it doesn’t actually let you. Every time I’ve tried to name or rename something it doesn’t save it and just says "Recording #_". Otherwise, it’s really good. It shows how long the recording was, what day it was recorded on, the time, the ability to edit, pin certain sections, and pause the recording. The recordings are quite clear and you can save up so many of them for free. Although, there is a premium option that give the ability to transcribe the recording.

I’m super excited about this app cause it let me make a shortcut and the way it starts and stops recordings is so fast and easy and snappy. Especially compared to any other audio recorders I’ve found. However this app doesn’t let me record through my headphones which is pretty disappointing. If this is fixed then I will make it a five star review. Also it would be cool if rather than syncing to iCloud, you could just make the audio files load automatically to a folder of your choice on your phone. That would be an easy way to sync with both iCloud and google drive.
