Be inspired by personalized travel tips and explore Zermatt's most beautiful attractions. The SMART DASH dynamically adapts its content to your needs so you find the relevant information at a glance.
EXPLORE
Are you looking for attractions? An Italian restaurant nearby? Or do you simply want to relax in a Spa after your day on the skis? The Explore Guide will help you to find what you are looking for. Based on your location and the set filters the map shows you the way to your destination of choice. No matter if it is the Gornergrat Railway, the next pizzeria or a bar with view on the Matterhorn.
Choose from categories such as SEE, INFO, EAT, SHOP, DRINK, PLAY und RELAX.
PROFILE
Save point of interests to your favorites and create a list of your very own must sees. Additionally, you will find a log of all your purchases such as your ski pass for the Matterhorn paradise or the train ticket for the Gornergrat Railway - all in your profile.
SHOP
Buy ski passes or tickets to the most beautiful excursion peaks. Simply purchase your transport ticket on the app and get a valid QR code straight to your phone. If you go skiing, get your ticket at one of the numerous pick up stations and skip the line.
Accepted payment methods are Master Card and VISA (AMEX following soon).
LIVE-INFORMATIONEN
Get live info on the weather, snow conditions, lifts, and more. Check out the Zermatt webcams to get a real-time view on conditions in the valley and on the mountain.
EVENT-KALENDER
Thanks to the event calendar you won’t miss a single Zermatt highlight. Always be in the know when the next cultural event will take place or where the hottest parties will be held.

Bus Stops and Routes not on Maps
There are no maps showing Red and Green Bus stop locations and the bus routes. This should be fundamental on the Transition theme map in this app!!!
The open and closing times of the individual ski lifts are not given - the times change throughout the season and are different for each lift. This should be published on this app or at least provide the link to this information that is found on a different site. I hear that the times might be available soon in this app - thank you if this happens.
The hiking trails show as icons instead of routes, so you have to guess which icon you think is near the trails you want.

Thank you very much for your feedback. We changed the app from winter to summer at the end of April and therefore unfortunately the open/closed status for Zermatt/Italy was no longer displayed to you. In the winter season this information will be fully visible again for both Zermatt and Italy. Regarding the opening hours of the lifts, we are very happy to announce that we have recently integrated this info into the app.
Worst ski mountain app
The main thing I want out of a ski mountain map is a good piste map. This app makes the piste map hard to find (it’s labeled as “panorama,” which sounds more like it’s going to show me a webcam). When you do find it, it’s terrible — it’s glitchy, it doesn’t label lots of things (like lifts and restaurants), it doesn’t show you where you are on the map, and it’s just generally unpleasant to use. Plus the app is full of a ton of other junk that’s just distracting.

Thank your for your feedback. We are currently working on a user-friendly version of the ski map. Nevertheless, the Matterhorn App is not a ski mountain app. The App includes lots of information about the whole destination Zermatt - Täsch - Randa and not just about the ski resort.
