I had the benefit of using this app in its beta stages and watch it evolve into the incredible medical instrument that it is today. As a doctor, it has given me tremendous insight into my personal Parkinson’s and allowed me to quantify the symptomology that faces each of us as individuals on the Parkinson’s journey. There is no other FDA approved instrument that can help you track your progression and efficacy of medication as simply and accurately as this app. The ease of operation could not be made more easy and intuitive. The insight of the world class expert staff and scientists at NeuroRPM are available at only a call to assist or review your data, help you interpret, or teach you how to internalize the monthly reports of where you are in your journey with Parkinson’s disease. I find tracking of the efficacy of my medication and alignment of “on”/"off” periods as well as objective data to support medicine change or adjustment invaluable. The app relates a variety of symptoms being monitored through the most advanced technological algorithms and is fine todistinguish types of tremor from dyskinesia. I see a time, in the not too distant future, where the data gathered will be the gold standard used in collaboration with the expertise of movement disorder specialists for diagnosing and treating Parkinson’s disease, as well as differentiating between the various Parkinsonisms and atypical Parkinson’s disease. Unlike other instruments of measure that have small but present error rates, the NeuroRPM application is the most accurate and complementary supplement for the neurologist and movement disorder to support their experienced professional and otherwise largely subjective diagnosis of Parkinson’s disease. The application when used in conjunction with the guidance of a neurologist or movement disorder specialist is cutting edge and a game changer for treating monitoring neurodegenerative diseases.

I have tried other PD monitoring apps, but have concluded that NeuroRPM is simply the BEST Parkinson’s monitoring app available today!As an early adopter of the NeuroRPM app, I have been a participant in its development from a “very promising app” into the “full-service” monitoring tool it has become for me today. I attribute much of this evolution to a very responsive technical support team who listens to- and is extremely responsive to- feedback and new feature requests. The monthly reports generated by the app provide insight into PD medication efficacy, as well as a detailed, daily chart of symptoms and medication usage, as well as any changes in their frequency/duration. These shareable reports give my neurologist an overall picture of how my medication is working and if modifications to regimen are indicated. I highly recommend this app if you are in need of a comprehensive Parkinson’s symptoms monitoring app.

This app has given me something I never had before: objective, quantitative data about my parkinson’s symptoms. Instead of trying to remember details I often forget, I can bring clear reports to my doctor. It shows patterns over the day and through the months, not just the 15 minutes I see my neurologist. That has made conversations much more productive. I truly believe this is the future of Parkinson’s care.

Using this app has helped me identify how effective my Parkinson’s medications are working for me. I can visually see how long it takes for my meds to kick in and how long I can sustain their impact before symptoms begin to return. This information helps me plan my days when I need to have my meds peaking at a particular time.
