Rented a property with bungalow for a year my lease is ending. I didn’t like my experience for one the showings if you have a vacant room they will have up to two-three showings a day and it’s annoying because sometimes they don’t even knock they just walk right in. Second they do take a long time for maintenance and repairs of the house. Third the cleanings are done by non-Professionals that do a crappy job. Better off hiring someone else. Also please read the lease over and over before signing they have certain clauses like we can enter the property without notice to the residence. And if you break the rules they charge you 800 dollars a month on top of your rent. Ridiculous they have issues paying back security deposit and customer service is terrible. The only perk is the bungalow events if your able to book these before they sell out. Just to mention 150 is a little to much for utilities especially if 3-4 people are paying it. Is it really 600 dollars a month for water trash gas sewer and a twice a month maid service? Your better off finding your own roommates RENT AT YOUR OWN RISK

DO NOT USE!!! I used bungalow to rent a room near school and I was extremely disappointed with the condition of this place. I picked up my keys and went to the apartment and it was nothing like the video tour. The whole place was disgusting and smelled like sulfur and pee even before we entered the apartment. I walked in and the place looked nothing like I expected. The room I was assigned was filled with stuff and I was told to inhabit a different room that was half the size of the one I was paying for. There were ash trays all over the apartment and the whole apartment reeked of smoke and urine. I was under the impression that someone from Bungalow was going to inspect the room before I moved in. My room in question had a dog crate and was covered in dog pee. The whole apartment seemed like it hadn’t been cleaned for months - even though they charge a fee for cleaning. The two bathrooms were in shambles and falling apart- nothing like represented in the pictures or videos! I have never seen such misrepresentation and blatant false advertising. Trying to get my money back was an even more frustrating process than above. I didn't inhabit the room at all and they refused to refund me my money and want to charge a $1000 fee. I'm in the process of going to court to get my money back but BEWARE AND DO NOT USE!!

DO NOT USE!!! I used bungalow to rent a room near school and I was extremely disappointed with the condition of this place. I picked up my keys and went to the apartment and it was nothing like the video tour. The whole place was disgusting and smelled like sulfur and pee even before we entered the apartment. They Refused to pay payback my security deposit even though I did not even sign a lease with them. I had originally signed up with Homeroom and when they took over from them, our leases transferred to Bungalow. I submitted my move out notice two months before I moved out when I was still with Homeroom.I ended up moving out a month after and still paid rent for the month that I did not live in the house (which is not a big deal as it was part of the leasing agreement ). When I followed up a month later after my lease send date, they told me that I owe them $120 more. Mind you, they had applied this in addition to the Security Deposit. Turns out my “move out fees” were more than any rent I had paid out for any particular month in two years. They added a 60 day requirement charge and prorated rent in my final bill. What a SCAM! They also threatened to Report my account to CREDITORS even though I paid all my rent and they refused to refund my Security deposit. I am planning to take them to court. I Know all about Texas Property Codes.

Most of the fixes came out of my pocket if I wanted it done in a timely manner. when I had moved in there were stuff that was previously broken, and I put up with it but when I moved out they wanted to charge me for the stuff that was broken prior to me moving in. I went back-and-forth with them and they wouldn’t have it and they threaten to send my remaining balance to collections if I didn’t pay up. So I had no choice but to pay up. they take advantage of people needing a place to live and make them put up with next to nothing in their homes. Even the maintenance guy would come around and have some thing to say about bungalow homes in particular. He knew how bad these homes were. The app itself constantly crashes when you try to do anything. I would let them know that their out needs fixing via the website since the app was hard to navigate. Look somewhere else I promise you do not want to rent with them.
