Add incline and power to your run inside and outside!
RunCline provides incline information entered manually in the app and transmits it automatically over Bluetooth. Alternatively, it can read incline directly from your smart treadmill. It will also connect to an external foot pod and/or heart rate monitor and re-transmit the collected metrics over Bluetooth. What's the purpose? You can pair the phone or tablet running RunCline with Zwift and get incline, power, speed, cadence and heart rate. RunCline will also display all metrics on screen for you to view during your running. What's even better? Some smart-er treadmills can also be controlled by RunCline to make them track incline from Zwift on PC or Mac.
RunCline can also pair with the Apple Watch to get heart rate and display some running metrics. The heart rate feature is using the HealthKit to transmit live heart rate values to RunCline and store them in Apple Health.
Requirements: You need to pair a Bluetooth compliant foot pod and/or supported smart treadmill to RunCline to use the app. Otherwise, you can select the VirtualPod in the list of Foot Pods to use RunCline as a source of speed and incline for Zwift.
Pairing screen:
* Select one foot pod in range or smart treadmill (required)
* Select one heart rate monitor in range (optional)
* The "Searching" button will display "Start" once the foot pod device or smart treadmill is paired. If the Start button does not appear within 5 seconds, you may need to activate your foot pod by running or walking.
RunCline screen. The running metrics from the foot pod, smart treadmill and/or heart rate monitor will be displayed on screen and re-transmitted to Zwift over Bluetooth. All running metrics are also saved to a .FIT file that can be emailed or exported after the run.
a) Select "Live" to display live metrics or "10-second" to get average metrics from the past 10 seconds.
b) Use the + and - buttons to select the incline (if no smart treadmill connected).
c) You can click the Volume Up and Down buttons on your phone or tablet to get spoken metric values.
Runcline can be used to run outside. It will provide audio cues at every kilometer or mile. If you are running with power, it can provide audio cues to keep you within your power target. You can define workouts by pace, distance or power. RunCline will notify you at the beginning of each interval. Once your workout is completed, the log report includes detailed results of your run with a summary of all running metrics from your foot pod and more.

Feedback is more than welcomed and will contribute to make RunCline better for everyone.
The app would be amazing if I could get it to work. It says on your Wiki to send screenshots to the email but it doesn’t list the email. I am using the Horizon 7.4 at, a Garmin 945 and I use Zwift on my iPad. I was throng to use RunCline on my iPhone. It sees the treadmill and connects but the data doesn’t come through. I connected the app to my Garmin and it worked with it. I just want to figure out how to get it working with the treadmill! Hope to hear back soon

Excellent App support
TexDrex
I initially was having some problems with bad data being reported on the app. Pascal immediately responded to my problem, worked with me over several weeks to correct the problems, and now everything works as he intended with my treadmill. If you're having a problem, I cannot recommend enough that you contact him to see if he is able to fix it. This is a great app, and it's really made tracking treadmill workouts more enjoyable and less painful. Thank you for the a great app!PS...you ought to charge a fee for this app. There isn't another like it out there.
Developer Response
Hi TexDrex,I am very sorry to hear RunCline does not work with your treadmill. The new Wahoo KICKR RUN is just getting released to the market. It may not be directly compatible just yet with RunCline but I'll be happy to work with you to have it supported. Please send me an email at pcarrieres at hotmail dot com and I'll be happy to work with you to resolve the issue quickly.Out of the 60+ treadmills supported by RunCline, I have only one at home. Treadmill manufacturers do not publish their private bluetooth protocols so I have to work with you and others to add the functionalities in RunCline.
It’s awesome!

I just want to say thank you to the developers, this is exactly what I was looking for. Every app I’ve tried does not transfer treadmill vertical gain properly to strava or training peaks but this does!! And it connects to my very basic Sole F63 flawlessly to know the vertical percent as I change it on the treadmill. It’s just awesome and thank you so much. Sharing your completed runs to RunGap will get your files to all the places you track like strava, training peaks, Garmin, etc. Thank you for making this app!!
Great app to get elevation data into Strava
appenz
My treadmill (Technogym) like many treadmills doesn’t record elevation data for virtual runs. With this app, you can inject incline into the recorded treadmill data. So for example, you can use it to add incline data to the feed it sends to Zwift, and your Zwift or Strava virtual run will then correct elevation data. I am using this every day for my workouts, it is reliable and works great.
