Possibly the highest rated app for good reason. Features and quality are off the chart! 5 star is really not enough. Listen and explore at the same time. Recent Shows, Popular, and Today in History, are great starting points. Easy to save fav artists/bands AND fav shows. While listening, minimize to use other apps, lock phone, control from Lock Screen. Download for offline. Now shows multiple recordings and details - works perfectly! Read the release notes on the Dev’s website for the effort it takes to make something effortless to use! This app & Dev deserves support! Tell a friend! While I’m thrilled that LAMA has an app, and think the ease with which we can, for example, bounce from one source to another of the same show to find the best sound, is wonderful… truly.(always been such a pain when you’re trying to find the best sound and there are 10 sources). I am disappointed that, at least so far, we can’t login to our archive accounts in the app, or read and write reviews. As someone who has written a whole bunch of reviews since 2005, and has always enjoyed utilizing the reviews of others for various reasons, this is a couple pretty significant missing pieces. I’m hoping that this is not a permanent state of affairs, but rather just something that is being worked on. Maybe a post from the archive to let us know if/when we’ll be able to login and tie the app to our accounts of the website.

LMA is the BEST music app for streaming/downloading live music on iOS. Relisten is okay but it’s sluggish and unmaintained. LMA is so much better. It feels polished and easy to use. Downloading is simple and sorting by Sunday shows is such a great feature. I also love the listening history section. It’s such a cool feature to see how much of a show I’ve listened to and it’s helpful for when I stop midshow because I have to do something. Only small criticism is that last/libre fm scrobbling isn’t supported. Other than that perfect app!

Great app! But one complaint…

This app was an awesome discovery, I had been using the website before but it would tend to get tricky when I was on the go and had fluctuating levels of WiFi, but Since using the app I don’t have nearly as many issues with music not playing! My only complaint is that on the website (even when I pull it up on my phone) I’m able to see the waveform of the audio which is really nice when I’m trying to pin point somewhere I want to skip to in the song. It’s an especially useful tool for me when I have 15-30 minute long GD songs I’m trying to look for a specific part in haha. It would be so much better if the app also had that feature.
