This app is phenomenal. Smooth and slick interface and design that is VERY rare to see in most astronomy apps today with this amount of robust features. Regardless if you have casual interest in just pointing your phone at the sky to see what’s up there at night or your an avid astronomer with a telescope who does visual and / or imaging this app serves both categories equally well!This type of app / interface should set the example for others! Great work and in astronomy this is so rare to say but it’s actually a fair AND affordable price! Great work!

I paid for a version of Luminos 9 still have the same phone and operating system and now it no longer works which I feel is pretty lame especially after paying for it. All of this subscription stuff is nothing but a chincy way of getting constant money from people. I used to use the app all of the time and now I can’t without paying for a subscription. To me that is lame and I am sad that you took that route. Now I have a useless app that just crashes whenever I start it. Boo to that what a shame that you made such a great app and now I can’t even use it.... it’s a sad day for me and my daughter at least let my paid app still work... that makes no sense to me. Last thing I need is to be paying a subscription for something. It’s pretty lame that I can spend money on a great app and now I can’t even use it anymore. I feel like I got ripped off.

Hello there! I'd like to help you with updating Luminos 9. Although it's no longer available for sale in the App Store, it's still fully functional. To update it, please follow these steps:1. Open the App Store on your device.2. Go to your App Store account and open the "Purchased Apps" list.3. Search for "Luminos" in your purchased apps.4. Once you find it, select it to initiate the update process.Please note that you might need to delete the old copy of the app before you can install the updated version from your "Purchased" list. Keep that in mind as you proceed.It can still be installed on all of your devices and it still supports Family Sharing so your spouse and kids can also install it, but they have to look in your purchased apps list to find it because I no longer offer it for sale in the App Store.If you have any further questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out to me at support@wobbleworks.com. So easy to find what I am looking for without having to repeatedly bring up multiple menus, etc..This latest update addressed a small oversight in past versions; we now have distances for globular clusters.CheerZ!

This is usually a very good app, despite the volumes of info that occupies the screen, this version however keeps going black as I explore necessitating restarts often. It would be nice to be able to rid the screen of text with one tap to be able to enjoy a clear view when comparing to the actual sky.

This is usually a very good app, despite the volumes of info that occupies the screen, this version however keeps going black as I explore necessitating restarts often. It would be nice to be able to rid the screen of text with one tap to be able to enjoy a clear view when comparing to the actual sky.

This major update brings powerful new features and refinements across the app. The sky now looks more realistic than ever thanks to a new high-resolution Earth atmosphere model with smoother color gradients. Sky View supports dynamic text sizes for better readability, and you can now import Observer Pro horizon files (.hrz) for precise local horizons. Telescope control has gained major improvements: Luminos Pro now supports game controllers (joysticks), adds pulse guiding for many telescope models, and introduces Touch Guiding for intuitive control without needing to look at the screen. Observation settings are easier to access, and Hour Angle is now included in all objects’ Live Data. There are also many fixes and interface improvements throughout the app — from better layouts on small screens to smoother tracking markers and more consistent colors. Crashes in city and field-of-view editors have been resolved, Uranus’ rings are visible again, and numerous display and navigation bugs have been eliminated. Thank you for sharing your crash reports and helping make Luminos Pro better with every release.
