This official app brings native iOS mobile experience to teachers, students and school staff. Users have access to plethora of information, functions and tools to focus on teaching and learning.
App features:
• Teachers: manage your classroom tasks such as distributing weekly plans, assigning student work, grading, curriculum, learning goals, absence, academic calendar, plagiarism, parent communication – just to name a few.
• Students: work on your assignments, submit them, review assessments, view academic calendar, individual learning plans & gradebooks, etc.
• Features exclusive native iOS functionality and experience not available anywhere else. For example, Students can use the 'Skooler Hand-In' Share extension (installed with this App) to upload single or multiple items for your assignment(s). You can also hand-in your assignment(s) directly through your iPhone / iPad. And it works just the same whether you are uploading some text, a URL, a document, an image, a video or an audio recording. Simply, just use the sharing feature in any app that supports sharing.
• Teachers and Students can also receive Push Notifications through iOS customised workflow.

Actually, there’s a problem. When I get a notification of a new message. I go to check it. But, when I go to the notifications center and tap a notification, I just kicks me out of the app and the notification still stays there. So there’s always a notification that NEVER goes away. :I

This app and Skooler in general are atrocious. The app glitches constantly. The headings are often covered by various overlay, it takes a very long time to load (even just going back and forth between sections), there’s assets stacked on top of each other making them unusable, and in most instances there isn’t a back button which means you have to back completely out and go back to the main page just to view something. The dashboard is a mess. The grade book is difficult to understand and sometimes doesn’t work at all or takes forever for assignments to register. There is a photo gallery which I’m not even going to bother trying to figure out because it’s completely useless. I tried to view my classes and who’s in them but I couldn’t because 5 overlays were all piled on top of each other. For whatever reason, there is a toolbox section that includes two tools: a timer and brain teasers. I have no idea why anyone would ever use a timer in Skooler when they are way more easily accessible literally anywhere else. However, even if they were to use the Skooler timer, it’s an absolute mess. There’s two ways to put times into it for some weird reason and there’s no way to tell when the timer ended unless you are in the app. Even in the app, there is no noise that goes off and even if there was there’s no way to customize it. It’s a completely useless and broken feature. The brain teasers have zero explanation, are an abomination (missing textures or covered up textures, I can’t tell), and provide zero stimulation to my brain. My brain would be more teased doing a 10 piece puzzle than by doing the brain teasers in the app.Honestly, I have no idea what’s happening in this app. What does the plan feature do? It appears to just be listing assignments, but I have no idea what any of it means because this app is a giant dumpster fire. I don’t know why my school is using this, but it is a huge mistake. If I could give it 0 stars, I would.DO NOT USE SKOOLER
Why?
SeaChiVa
Why does my school insist on using this stupid when we already had a perfectly good system?
