Literally there is no use of this app unless you want to see your balance. I don’t understand how you invested in an app that does nothing. Looks more sleek compare to the previous one but same as you cannot extract statements, pay your loan or your card. Can someone enlightened me and explain what’s the purpose of it?

HSBC, I am coming to write this as a notice, perhaps the head of operations don’t know about this or he/she doesn’t care. The customer reps I have spoken and chat with are completely useless and it’s crazy how you guys give such confidence to people who aren’t near average in English nor experienced in credit card situations to handle really sensitive and pressing matters as such. I made a transaction off my credit card since July and requested for FIP to be for 2 years for that transaction. I made the customer rep, by name “Rakesh”, uae branch, to pls take note of the recordings Incase anything goes wrong that I’ll refer to it. At the end of the day the bank statement came for the month that I’ll need to pay FIP for a 1yr. I have made at least 5 requests both on calls and on the app. The customer care reps sends the requests but HSBC don’t care about ny request , cos the situation remains pending till date. Meaning I’ll have to pay out of my budget every month for a year cos they have incompetent people representing this bank. Once the credit payment is finished I’m cancelling the credit card. Your customer care reps are useless. Period.

Love the application, saved us alot of things that we used to do on web. Still missing some services such as receiving transactions notifications and OTP messages through it. We need as well to be able to contact customer service like email service where we submit any issue on hsbc uae website. It can include all other services such as submitting feedback , request assistance , issue complaints, request credit cards and above all for emerald and premier to be able to contact their personal banking agent . Thanks hsbc uae for improving their app

I thought the previous old app was the worst thing that can happen to mobile banking.. and boy were I wrong. Yes it was sluggish, and slow, but the old app used to work. This new app looks modern.. however functionality wise.. nothing works! You can just look at your balance: if you try making transactions or moving money to other accounts it freezes completely. I still need to login to the website on my phone + the dated hardware token generator to do any transaction. Seriously. Worse than before. I sincerely want to change banks just because of how badly HSBC handles its apps ecosystem. Sad.
