So maybe I’m doing this wrong but here are my issues.— I’m not able to reopen a room to add windows doors via camera tool it must be done at the beginning.— I don’t see any way to connect, link rooms together to create a single floor plan. — I would have liked to see a few options to make a folder for my house/then sub folder for each floor or section. In the sub folder the ability to add default sizes for windows, doors, ceilings(typeA, typeB, etc).— also when editing a room, the measurements return to metric so the setting don’t match in all places.I’m looking for a camera app to either make a 3D model for planning or to help me make a floor plan. Luckily my house only has one size for all windows but I have 7 different sized doors and three different ceiling heights. “Poor planning I guess”I’ve been in many homes that where built in 4 or 5 different eras with unique windows/doors/ceilings/floors for each time period.The app has some things going for it, but I don’t see how I could justify paying for a tool that does so little.

Next to impossible to move/edit rooms

There are soMany problems with this interface. You scan a room. Sometimes it finds all the walls. Some times it doesn’t. You can’t scan multiple rooms all in one scan. For example a bedroom and the both room off of it. You must scan them separately.It lays rooms out just in a row. Some series of click and hold or double clicking gets you into edit mode, but then click in the wrong spot, and it moves walls. One you get the arrows to show up, it’ll show that you can also rotate, but how? I somehow made it work one time, but don’t lift your finger off. There is no user guide. So, you have to guess at how to do all of this. I still haven’t figured out how to move a hallway in my plan.Oh and it’s not cheap. $13/week and $90/year!Completely frustrating.

Not quite there, keeps crashing

Good for a small room, but anything beyond a small office and it can’t manage, crashes a 14 Pro Max (just stops collecting data so you have to back out of the scan, and kill the app to be able to start again, whereupon it crashes again). Nice idea. Measured the same room twice, got different dimensions (7cm over 264), plus the volumes and areas are all in tiny amounts of sq mm and so on. I think my office is a bit bigger than 27mm3. Won’t let you save partial rooms, seems like it wants to close the room. So I can’t get a corner of a huge open plan office, for instance. Canceling before I get charged. I gave it a few hours of use, so this is not a five minute trial.

Trash app. The opening tricks you into thinking that it does what it advertises, then won’t let you click finish to work on the plan that you just created. After exiting from the unending AR scanning mode it tries to encourage you to purchase yet another subscription, and then gives you a default project. Clearing the project of all objects will cause the project to delete itself. There is no way to create another project, or to use the app after you’ve gotten to this point. Save yourself some time, don’t download unless you intend to buy it, it has no use otherwise.
